additional gear loopso to a new harness

hi guysthe misses bought a new harness for me but it only has 3 attachment point for gear has anyone added some to the climbing harness if so how and any photos would be great my old skylotec had loads way to many but 3 isn't climbing today 1 point for saw at rear and two side ones after putting rigging pulley and line I've ran out so my extra carabiner and prussuk had to stay on the ground help appreciate

Would something like this work?Either riveted or bolted on.Stick a carabiner through & hang things on that.

I could probably fabricate a leather loop to attach the eye plate to which could then be strapped to your harness rather than put holes in it,possibly weakening it.

What harness have you got?I'll have a quick doodle with some designs.

I used to just add a couple of quickdraw dyneema slings to my climbing harness when needing to carry a biigger rack of chocks and friends etc,

Used largish oval mallions before. Big enough to fit around the harnesses waist webbing, where there are gaps in the attachment to the padding.

I never use more than 3 gear loops.

Rear for saw, Caritool doesn't use a loop, fig8 and rescue knife on one, wiregate for accessories on another.

They're not life support, you can hang multiple stuff off them if you like.

The big question is why would you let your missus choose a harness for you?
