Reading the manual online and it says to re tension the belts after 2-3hrs using a timberwolf gauge.

I'm guessing the gauge is essential but maybe not the tw one?

Any belt driven machine, be it a mower, chipper, tractor etc, will need belt maintenance, especially when new belts are fitted. In days gone by, a belt tension metre could be had but most people can judge belt tension by touch!

Finally got it today after a 4hr round trip to reading.

Was meant to be there Monday but hey it's with me know 😜

Going to get some use on it over xmas with some pine and birch.

Where did you get it from if you don't mind me asking? Readings pretty near me so was thinking about having a look at one.

Got it through lister wilder.

Personally the service was terrible, nobody new when it was coming in, the pricing and availability or anything.

Also they were offering to deliver it to my local branch today even though it was shut for xmas 😒
