Hi

My choice, in no particular order:

Stihl MS241 - if M-Tronic is OK, perhaps older ones may not have it? WES has one & its been tweaked

Echos as per above posts

Husqvarna 346xp

Dolmar 420 - fairly sure its pro build & yes, Id like one

My 346 has a 15" bar so would fly on 13".

Got three autotune huskys and not a problem yet,had em over two years

Seems they either give no trouble (the majority perhaps) or they give endless trouble. Just out of curiosity, are your's totally stock or tuned in some way, even something minor like a drilled out exhaust silencer?

All stock saws 2x550 and a 560 all run spot on

Maybe something to be said for keeping them stock. I work with a couple of guys from time to time who use a mix of Stihl and Husky including a 560XP, never seen any problems with any of them and I'll assume as they always have the Husky with them that it isn't prone to problems. Me, I'm quite happy with my own Echo saws. I do a bit of work on an estate and they have a 576XP with Autotune, I've used it and would happily own one, it can sit for weeks, maybe months on end unused and always starts and runs no problem.
