So let's confirm a suspicion of mine.

You have all the gear... (Am I right so far?)

Well it ain't a secret I said I did the odd tree, and when I joined this forum it got me to thinkin of doin it a bit more, and doin it right..

Went out this spring and got myself a crap load of gear to climb with.. used to just climb freestyle see...

Only thing is I haven't got is a chipper, leastways one thats any use...

I only want to do tree's here an there.. I've no intention of goin into it full-time...

In fact I did a tree job today, chopped a big limb off a tree not far from that pub you did a job on earlier in the year.. the one in Ringly.

I'd forgot how scary it is climbing up a tree in the rain, but then I thought of you lot, if a bunch of wossies can do it, so can I LOL..

:001_smile::001_smile:

A good anology.

Another is; 'There's more than one way to skin a cat'

I just see all these things as a tool in the toolbox, the important thing being the selection of the right tool for the job in hand. I know a few people who think a hammer is the only tool for every job, the bigger the better:biggrin:
