Fake or not?

I think it was the colour of some of the plastics and the finish on it in some places.

It could have been dropped and had some new or aftermarket plastics fitted, plenty of options on parts. If it looks a bit suspect and is too cheap there's always the option to pass it up but it's always tempting if you think something is a bargain.

They look pretty black/dark on FR Jones website. Here

I agree if it looks to good to be true but all we have to go on is the pics the OP posted, no price, no idea whether it's advertised as used or new, basically nothing apart from a few pics taken with a mobile phone that aren't any worse colour wise than the ones on an official dealers website.

Could be fake, could be genuine, could be stolen, could be a bargain, who knows.

Hi, yes agreed Jonsies pics similar, It was also the wierd angle of the pictures that also made me think fake, I couldnt help thinking there was a reason for missing bits off and awkward angles. Perhaps the black plastic has faded in the sun?

If it is genuine, not stolen, whos to say thats the exact same item arrives?

LOL just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they're not out to get you

There's always an element of risk buying something over the internet, but is this saw available for local pick-up or will it be posted? Again, not enough information.
