Is it god's fault we know him not?

That we're unable to solve his parables, riddles n metaphors?

For behold, the man has become like unto one of us, knowing both God and evil, and now lest he put forth his hand, and partake also of the tree of life....

Are our cities built on top of the bones of our ancestors testament to god's cruelty, or our stupidity?

Maybe his creations were meant to overcome their own flaws n failings without a sky nanny?

Or maybe God is created in the image of good, rather than the other way around :sneaky2:

God was a concept created to explain the inexplicable, but we have developed and advanced, science has now filled all the God shaped holes we used to have in our understanding.

God is now a concept that allows those who cannot accept the realities of life to kid themselves that its all going to be OK.

“Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent.

Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent.

Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil?

Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God?”

Not really. If God is real and he really has created the universe then is it realistic to expect to be able to fathom all he is with our limited finite minds?

Personally I believe god's rubbin our noses in flawed manly rule's shortcomings bigtime right now.

Hopefully he'll intervene n save us from ourselves soon, just in the nick of time.

So presumably he does not expect us to, so requires no worship :001_rolleyes:

Presumable this God is even more wonderful and magnificent than his creation, the very creation that MUST have a designer, but he has just always been there and needs no designer or creator………….. yeah right :001_rolleyes::lol::lol:

I readily admit the outlook's rather grim at the moment for us.....

But faint heart never fair maid won, so we ploddingly soldier on.

I believe he can be found by those who genuinely want to find him.

I'll take a backhanded compliment as well as any other LOL's...

I'm on solid ground when it comes to religion though, spent years debating the subject on other forums, even been banned off a few....
