I think you're mixing up correlation with causation again JD. Though I agree that the  explosion of mental health issues for children is a huge problem that needs addressing. Now.

I don't believe that "messed up pandering nonsense is what results in kids suffering from record levels of mental health issues". Not at all. Social Media is the main root cause of that and the mistaken, (in some cases but not all) belief that a young person needs to identify as an alternative gender/sexuality. I'd draw a diagram if I knew how to do it on here. A triangle with three points and two arrows.

Masquerading as a parent doesn't really come into it. If it does it's a very small factor. It could be argued that not pandering could add to the mental anguish actually. After all, you can't pander to a belief that isn't already there. (If there is that belief already then it must have come from something else). I've never heard of any cases of parents actively encouraging their kinder to want to identify as something else just for the sake of it.

Bringing it back to POTUS. His little bunch of tame Social Media barons are the real villains of the piece here. The crap that they're inundating kids with is what's causing the mental health epidemic for them. (Kids are having a rough time if it right now, what with that and the obesity epidemic caused by UPF. They shouldn't have to deal with all this shit at their tender age.) Not to mention all the other harms stemming from Social Media as well. And it's about to get a whole lot worse, just look what Musk and Zuckerberg have been up to in the last few weeks. Who needs fact checking?

You raise yours how you see fit, same to all of the ATL on here, I’ve done it a few times now and have had not the best but imo reasonable results when it comes to protecting, providing for and instilling a decent set of work, social and personal values . 
I certainly don’t need lectures off people who argued with me about subjecting children to totally unnecessary and untested covid jabs not that long ago. 
Social media is a curse in many respects. 
Taking of kids and a rough time, you seem conveniently to have missed out a rather significant event, the only time I have seen any of mine struggling mentally was during those ****************ing Lockdowns you and others supported, I’ve mentioned this before and was slated for it by the normal covid warriors on here. This is one of the main reasons I feel the way I do about that period and why very quickly myself and many others in our local area started to ignore the utter insanity of that period and started to let kids mix and have a half normal life. There’s even one idiot on here still talking shit about the benefits of out of school lockdown style learning.
