Come come now Kevin, you're an intelligent man, possibly!

I understand why brexit and trump are here, and I believe it's not because they are the answer!

As Theresa said "no deal is better than a bad deal".

I see trump and brexit as the "no deal",

In other words, the status quo is not acceptable so "feck it" let's take anything that comes along.

And here we are!

Of course, any deal is better than no deal as we know.

If you don't have any dealings you're finished.

Understand what you're saying Mull, it's just that I don't see it in the same way.... 👀

I agree that Obama was a gifted orator, the only problem is that just about all of his words were empty.

His farewell speech was really excellent........ if only it had been true.

That is exactly how I feel - all the the current elite mince their worlds so finely there aint no nutrition in them anymore. Everything is scripted, rehearsed - we never see the human soul beneath the facade. The only way to gauge them is by the results of their actions, and when that becomes clear the propaganda corps spin the toxic fallout into gold.

I loved every minute of Trump's CIA address. We see a true human being - full of humour, resentment, earnestness, confidence and hope all mixed together, just like in real life. Its frightening how brainwashed many of us have become, that we can't recognise a genuine personality anymore - and actually prefer the plastic fakery of professional politicians?

Judging by the applause and laughter I think the Spooks enjoyed the address as well. I like to think I can distinguish canned laughter from a spontaneous response.

I agree. People had had enough of political correctness. People have had enough of being taken for a ride by the corrupt elite in charge of governance. If you look at politicians like Trump or Farage, they're not the polished people that you'd associate with being involved with political things. They appeal to people because they've cultivated an image of being anti establishment. Looking at the decisions Trump has made so far regarding appointments he's made, it's more than apparent that he's balls deep in the establishment.

Seriously though, what's the deal with "Alternative Facts"?

I don't have anything against the establishment per se, there's always going to be some kind of establishment, just don't want them to be evil scheming crooks and traitors to the common man, thats all.

Just came upon a little riddle - in his address he mentions the columns in the hall and suggests he builds the CIA a larger better room:

"— A LARGER ROOM. [APPLAUSE] AND MAYBE, MAYBE IT WILL BE BUILT BY SOMEBODY WHO KNOWS HOW TO BUILD, AND WE WON’T HAVE COLUMNS. DO YOU UNDERSTAND THAT? WE GET RID OF THE COLUMNS."

Maybe there were spooks sitting behind the columns who couldn't see him, but there could also be a hidden meaning here:

The Seven Pillars Of Islam. (or sometimes five pillars, depending)

John O. Brennan, the CIA director, soon to be replaced - rumours that he converted to Wahhabist Islam while he was CIA station chief in Riyadh.

Its going to be a good year for conspiracy theories!

It could just be that he doesn't like columns. I suspect whoever wrote that goes through a fair bit of tin foil.
