Thats the same slip clutch coupling as on the TP that goes behind the Mog, that runs direct off the PTO (1000rpm and shaft straight to the rotor) and I always thought that it could do with a 2.1 gearbox or more to drop the engine revs. It just seems wrong to have the best part of six litres howling its nuts off to do the same job as a tiny kubota engine.

It is a slip clutch and come with ether splind , keyed or share bolt.

That's nice but it still wont fit on the chipper input shaft without some form of adaptor, you could take the flywheel out, remove the shaft, get it machined to accept the spline and re fit it all, but making an adaptor is easier and would make replacing the splined portion much easier if needed.

Not sure yet, need to get that big pully off tomorrow night and get vernier onto it to get true measurement of it.

Sent from my D5803 using Arbtalk mobile app

other option get a custom made full lenth shaft shaft that could be made in to a spline

i did once see a mini type shaft with a full size sleeve spline on it , thing it could be off mini/compat tractors
