Hello

Just wondering if anyone has any spec for Forestry guarding on a tractor?

It would be for use with a timber trailer and skidded.

i know i need to have rear and half side window protection but unsure as to what thickness of steel and so on.

Thanks

It depends on on how rough an environment you intend operating in. If the tractor is clambering over stumps all day and forcing its way through dense scrub I would suggest 3/4" thick belly plates and a frame of 50x50x6mm box with riddle mesh bolted to it.

If you have a Valtra/Valmet you can buy it off the shelf from Wilsons.
