  2. 🇳🇱 Meanwhile in the Netherlands, the usual coalition of Muslim migrants and far-left Palestinian activists is feeling inspired by the Hanukkah massacre in Australia and is attacking a Hanukkah… | João Neves | 85 comments WWW.LINKEDIN.COM 🇳🇱 Meanwhile in the Netherlands, the usual coalition of Muslim migrants and far-left Palestinian activists is... Hysterical eh @Mick Dempsey I had you down as a bit sharper than that Dempsey, I’m happy to admit I was mistaken. There’s a little more to make you laugh even more Dempsey, seeing as such things amuse you. Meat cleaver and a machete 🤔****************ing hysterical eh. Fusilier Lee Rigby died from "multiple cut and stab wounds" after being run over by a car and then attacked with a meat cleaver and knives by two Islamist extremists, Michael Adebolajo and Michael Adebowale. The attack occurred on May 22, 2013, in Woolwich, London, as he was returning to his barracks.
  3. Apparently .. Chainsaws were first invented for childbirth. It was developed in Scotland in the late 18th Century to help aid and speed up the process of symphysiotomy (widening the pubic cartilage) and removal of disease-laden bone during childbirth. It wasn’t until the start of the 20th Century that we started using chainsaws for woodchopping.

  6. BBC Verify: How a fake news website spread misinformation after Bondi Beach shooting WWW.BBC.CO.UK Latest updates from the BBC's specialists in fact-checking, verifying video and tackling disinformation. Ahmed is a hero. Perhaps these things wouldn't happen if they banned religion.
  7. How's Monday treating you, Les? Grismal day here in the Welsh borders. Sunshine tomorrow though.
  8. you don't get it - he's an influencer now, many votes for Reform will be won after people read what he has written on the internet

  10. So for all the posts you put on here, your direct action is 25 seconds on a ballot paper every 4 years? No letter to the local MP, no letters to the local councillors, not stepping up into real world politics? Ever attended a local political meeting to voice your concerns? All talk and no action, a pretty poor showing from one so greatly upset that it takes up your every waking moment to read the linkedin every-so-factually-correct-unbiased posts. Kind of undermines the message you want to send out "this is only important enough to write a strongly worded forum post. And no more" What a rightard you are.
  11. ❗️Pay Attention❗️ From the horses mouth… … again and again and again and again… These people are telling us THEIR PLANS. | Jason Gibbs | 60 comments WWW.LINKEDIN.COM ❗️Pay Attention❗️ From the horses mouth… … again and again and again and again… These people are... Those who laugh are deluding themselves.
  12. Clam shell inspiration! I’ve never thought of that before!
  13. I'd risk it . Make sure the polarities are correct then gently make the last contact, if there's a huge flash then I'd think twice.
  14. I am so confused by this thread! Sometimes my 120cc Stihl 088 struggles to mill knotty hardwood with a 36 inch bar and goes slow. A 65cc husky, all battery saws and any mains electric chainsaw will not pull a conventional 36 inch chainsaw bar. Bandsaw-type sawmills work with smaller motors because the bar is narrower.

  16. Totally agree on the time, I'm retired so don't mind spending some time on research and a bit of messing, it's a hobby for me using saws and repairing / maintaining them. If you had to pay for the time it 100% would not be economical, but I hate waste and adding more stuff to the scrap bin so worth it to explore the possibilities of reclaiming something and sharing the experience with others. The majority of my saws have been reclaimed from 'spares or repair' pile and find it keeps me active mentally and physically repairing OPE and cutting wood for my home and maintaining a hectare of woodland plus looking after numerous neighbours equipment as well. I don't like the throwaway society and being a mechanic by trade it's in my blood to at least to have a go at fixing things.
  17. Thanks I will certainly give that a try. Maybe with WD40?
  18. No, the OP of the question, not you. Happens more and more, don't know if attention spans are eroded with ticktocks and youtubes, but many questions are asked on forums, the OP never pops back to read the replies, or to offer further information or thanks.
  19. If you dont try it you will never know whether it works. If its not man enough for the job then I will just have to find a Stihl E30
  20. Hope your not talking about me as I have been on here since 2008.
  21. The initial charge for the dead battery will be charging it from the good battery - have to watch out that you don't get a large rush of current, battery to battery. My view would be an old dumb charger with a current limiter to see if that will do the job. Lead acid batteries will tolerate paralleling batteries, not sure with lithium if it generates a large heat - never tried though. However much it is annoying though, how many hours are you willing to spend working out a fix and are the value of these hours more than a new battery in the first place - 10 hours of your leisure time = new battery? - add them up, getting advice, sourcing the kit you want, fiddling about to make something work / not work and try again.... though I am enjoying reading the thread to see what fixes there are out there so maybe 'getting advice' doesn't count as much.

  24. Well that didnt take long... 'Toughen these up': PM flags law changes after Bondi WWW.THENEWDAILY.COM.AU Australia's gun laws will likely be tightened after the Bondi terror shooting that left at least 16 people... Or how about vetting people properly? "But he refused to comment on a report from the ABC that ASIO examined one of the men six years ago over close ties to a Sydney-based Islamic State terrorism cell. He also declined to confirm reports that a black IS flag was found on or inside the alleged gunmen’s car"
