  2. I think that's basically trust building. Show the customer that you're fair, reliable and value for money, you'll be the first one they call.
  3. I'd be keen to hear your feed back should you ever demo/buy one
  4. Epping asylum hotel resident told girls he wanted to have babies with them, court hears APPLE.NEWS Hadush Gerberslasie Kebatu accused of sexual assault and harassment against two 14-year-olds and... Not hard to see why mothers are now taking to the streets to keep this scum away from their daughters. Regarding Farages speech, it’s amusing to see amount of mainstream media who are now asking questions. Questions imo for which he gave very honest and sensible straightforward answers.

  6. I can't see it being an issue. Only if, by some unlikely coincidence, you decided to stack the recently felled limbs on the ground, next to one of your trees, in poor health, for several months. So hardly likely?
  7. Not the best option? All depends what you want to do with it. If you want it to be the saw that can do everything then 18" could be a good cal. Mine has the 14" light bar on, and I think it's perfect for me. If I want 20" I pick up the 400.
  8. I had this quandary a while ago. Makita battery was the preferred option, ( I have lots of batteries ) but they weren't cheap for what you got, and didn't look value for money, to me at least. Toolstation/Screwfix offerings were considered next, either petrol or battery. Nothing leapt out at me, and reviews are mixed. So, once more I bit the bullet, and once more, after I had done so, a better option appeared. I got a Stihl 82 R with the heavy duty gearbox, and it's a beast, cuts through stuff you would think beyond it. I can't fault it, except for the one thing I can't get round- starting a petrol tool at the top of a ladder. Once I'd bought that, and also lots of AP batteries for my newly acquired battery chainsaw, Stihl decided to bring out a battery equivalent, the 140 R. Thanks Stihl. Sounds like neither option would suit you, hope you find something that does, good luck.

When you buy a second hand saw you really take a chance on the saw. I brought this one from fleabay so at least i could return it. It come with a 15" bar which is not the best option. i have a 18" bar on back order as there out of stock. I had to sharpen the chain as is was completely blunt and i stripped it down for a total clean. It is such a fantastic saw but my god it really uses the gas.
  11. Farage's small boats plan not about policy but putting Labour and Tories on the spot NEWS.SKY.COM Nigel Farage's speech was not so much about presenting real policy proposals but about putting Labour and the Tories on the backfoot, Sam Coates writes.
  12. Do you think he would prefer Susan?
  13. They'll put him out to pasture. He'll be unfit to stand trial on anything when the time comes. All the useful idiots who voted for "The Donald", handed America to JD Vance and his chums.
  14. Mark J

    Jokes???

Ha! It was 10 regal king size, box of matches, and a pack of polos. Which clearly helped... 97p.
  15. Hi, I have been offered some logs from a tree that was felled due to Kretzschmaria. The drop site is on my small holding that has various trees planted. Does anyone know if the logs would pose a danger to my trees? Thanks David
  16. I'm getting there.
  17. A weird coincidence that they are blaming Trumps tariffs and import taxes but not increasing prices worldwide - and they are not the only worldwide postal service doing the same, just the only one relevant to most of us on here.
  18. oh , he's not going to take that well
  19. Maybe he just needs a bit more time to back his claims up, you wouldn’t go off all guns blazing without knowing you are right, not unless you want to known on Arbtalk as “Simon the Shit Stirrer”.
  20. Twenty Bensons, a packet of blue Rizlas, and two Magnums please.
  21. Because I'm only in it for the money , .I also turned down the chance to fly around the world with trant civil engineers doing airport surfaces ,but I didnt have enough info to make that a viable option either..hate to do it then get stung with a huge tax bill. If it doesn't pay enough I'm not interested to be honest . To be also straight -I'm not keen on Oz,new zealand, usa or Canada.
  22. That is a shame. But why would you come back?
  23. Inonotus hispidus?
  24. The ‘Royal Mail’ are now a privately (foreign) owned business looking for any excuse to justify increased prices and reduced services. Of course they will blame Trump for anything they can.
  25. Completing a job near Biggin Hill Airport, TN16 3BH in a few days and need some tip sites for woodchip. Thank you in advance!
  26. and in the lunchtime news today, Trumps import taxes are reported to be responsible for the Royal Mail to halt their regular mail deliveries - they will add 50p to each package now to cover processing. 2 options: UK businesses will suffer that due to the goodness if their hearts, reduce the pay perhaps to workers to compensate. Or, the US customer will pick up the tab. Hmmm wonder which - a man for the people increasing their costs again.
