Magnolia getting too large, no I.D. Keep or cut down?
Dan Maynard replied to Little Splodge's question in Homeowners Tree Advice Forum
This is why the usual advice for pruning magnolia is not to, they can sprout back with a vengeance with vertical growth that's not as attractive as the original tree. If it's too big though, can be the only answer. Bay is also one that gets big, you need to chop that back. They'll tolerate any abuse though. -
What the most unusual thing you have found in a tree

So what were those 72m then ?. Ah yes, it doesn't suit your rather head in the sands reality that people who are tourists visit whomever is the president. Hell, I went to Scotland under Nicola, it didn't put me off going. Granted I didn't stop off at Gretna for a shotgun wedding or find a duty free shop she was promising.

“Sometimes it's better to ask for forgiveness rather than beg for permission” perfect answer! We live in a mad world where by people question whether they can climb a tree on public land 😆 as people have said just be polite if questioned and keep your kit off the floor .
-
Missing the point... under Trump... no one, legal or not... wants to go to the US.
-
^ Nope. Climbing of smaller trees isn't frowned upon in public parks in England, kids do it all the time, and rightly so. We are primates after all. I've free-climbed trees since I was able to. When teaching a mate the ropes a parky did indeed come up and say that other people might try and copy. Good luck with that when the first branch is 7 or 8 metres off the ground. @Lee54321 Just crack on. Be polite. If stopped before you ascend then stop and find another tree. Make sure you bring a mate in case you get your boot stuck in a crotch or something like that. Sometimes it's better to ask for forgiveness rather than beg for permission.

Pure standard blagger SP BS. You know SP those comments you made again last night bringing family and my kids into your sick ****************ing Trump obsessed world. The one thing I’d like today is to have you stood in front of me. Alternatively PM me SP I’ve a couple of gigs coming up in Glasgow with the mrs and one of my daughters, let’s meet and you can make your Trump, Rape,Daughter wisecracks without the veil of anonymity Arbtalk offers you.

👍 Seems you get it

Erm, tourists tend to go home at the end of the holiday, unless that's a new Disney holiday option?. Immigrants, not so much. Granted unlike here Donald seems to be making them go home or not get in. Maybe that's why you don't understand the difference between immigration and tourist?.

To be honest, if you are a shining example of someone who never drinks, I am glad that there are those who do drink! You do appear particularly grumpy this week though, not sure if it is having to spend family time at home, you have popped your cork too early that your orange god is visiting, withdrawal symptoms that you are not hanging about with other men in your latex scuba gimp suit, or just PMSing. I would try a drink - might lighten you up a little
-
Still cannot un-see it: May I be as bold to suggest that an ex Met DCI might just have a bit more understanding of policing than an Arbtalk leotard.
-
Also halting the flow of 'regular' immigrants and tourists to the US... not a policy as much as no one wants to go there anymore.
-
Oooh, this is going to make a few heads spin: Trump - the orange god - says "Starmer is a good man"... so either Starmer is a good man or Trump is a liar. Hmmmmm
-
I think that is a point that many have made, Israeli military interventions into Gaza... a rip roaring success?

Ah a bit of “ Whataboutery” bit early for that I’d think. Comparing the chaos of the post WW2 era to Hamas actions 🤷♂️ Orgreave = British soil. So you think recent military interventions in that area have been successful??
-
we don't have a big army - why I suggested a coalition Orgreave was 40 years ago, 1947 was nearly 80 years ago. Things in the past are what makes today today The Irgun policy was based on what was then called Revisionist Zionism founded by Ze'ev Jabotinsky.[2] Two of the most infamous operations for which the Irgun were known; the bombing of the British administrative headquarters for Mandatory Palestine in Jerusalem on 22 July 1946 and the Deir Yassin massacre that killed at least 107 Palestinian Arab villagers, including women and children, carried out with Lehi on 9 April 1948.

We don’t have hardly any boots left to put on the ground. Military intervention 🤔🤔Iraq, Afghanistan etc etc it tends not to work out well in that part of the world as the Americans found out years ago in Beirut. ?? Your point “ 1947” Watch some of the footage of the murders, rapes, beheadings during the Hamas attack that started this latest round of violence. Hamas have taken sadistic terrorism to a new level. Why do their immediate Arab neighbours not want Hamas on their soil 🤔
