  1. Past hour
  2. Don't tell these old log goblins that, at 80 they may not get a chance to burn it 😀 Bob
  3. Well I doubt that that will happen in regards to UK citizens.
  4. Well, I'm on line 2 with the first three not in order. Im going to have to math this one out.
  5. Willow, thuja etc all burns and is arguably better than euc to someone who doesn't have a splitter. Far more efficient to swing an axe five times and achieve four splits than swing an axe five times and have it bounce off four times.
  6. Today
  7. AHPP

    Chickens?

Bang on the 21 days, 5 out of 6 eggs hatched yesterday. Bernard Matthews, eat your heart out.
  8. I imagine it’s a perceived unsuitability rather than an informed decision on the Goblin’s part. They have been snapping up G Willow, Thuja and all sorts of stuff that’s pretty hopeless like it’s kiln dried oak. It usually does need machine splitting though, but by the time the goblins find that out, it’s too late!
  9. Stubby

    Jokes???

    What a hoot !
  10. And when it does it is like concrete . If its got that helical center grain you need a mechanical splitter . I like to burn it on a stove but open fires is a bit dodgy as it spits and pops .
  11. Lot of people don't like it as takes long time to dry out.
  12. The medical is no big deal, I have had to do one every year since I reached 65 to retain my HGV, only expense is the medical itself which is £60-£100, the license gets renewed FOC. Bob
  13. Euc is a bit slow, this would normally be gone within the hour. Bob
  14. Ignore,

  16. Hi, thanks for the enquiry we will have a look and see, but it’s doubtful we have any parts for the BP1, as it’s a rare model! But will have a look for you and get back to you. Thank you again!
  17. Thanks for your enquiring, sadly no on the carbs and as per Adw’s comment those parts are readily available. Sorry!
  18. Never been asked for tickets to hire a chipper, just money. Agree with the above. I'd add depending on access to the hedge and what you're doing with the chip will tell you whether tracked or wheeled would suit better.
  19. Steady on, I think you'll find I wasted at a far higher level by using the same word on line 2 and 3. You lot are just amateurs when it comes to wasted opportunities.
  20. I'd love to be able to tell you I don't have a tab open for pink workshop overalls but here we find ourselves.
  21. not enough pink?
  22. If youre a legit company/one man band, you should be able to open an account with a Local groundcare company. You don't need a chipper ticket if you are competent. If you wanted to do your ticket then it's a level 2 day course run through NPTC and there should be plenty of providers where you are. Chipper-wise you would be looking at a 6" forst/timberwolf/greenmech etc. Bear in mind that if its just clippings youre chipping its a royal pain in the arse feeding them through!
  23. OK. Weirdly, that is closer in some respects...
