  1. Past hour
  2. Nobody would force them to.
  3. Ahh, but it is them paying from their own pocket to defend "a load of Londoners" that the Glaswegians might not like so much.
  4. Sorry Kram - I should have said the box to store the sharpener in the car - that one to be stackable with other tools (handy for in the workshop too).
  5. @Steven P I'm not sure what you mean by stackable? A climber is only going to carry one scrench, if at all. Wedges perhaps, but how? Stacked ones wont fit in the trouser pocket. Small magnets or clips would get them to stick together but then hanging on harness. I've had jobs where I really needed a scrench in the tree, had to come down and then decided to come back the next day, knocking the next job back. A simple scrench and I could have finished it, or not. The job I'm thinking of, the chain had hit the catcher and the drive links all burred, took ages to file them back to a useable state. @Marla brown sorry I have @'d you, this forum does t let me delete it?! If anyone knows how to delete unwanted @'s or quotes, please tell me. @Mark Bolam would you like to buy some 😀 Tbh I dont care to sell them, arrange a postage with evri or whoever and I can drop some in a box. This thread is more to help me, I want some good ideas from the experienced climbers.
  6. Tesco operates from Plymouth to Wick. Coachloads of football fans travel up and down the land every weekend.
  7. Just playing devils advocate here... SAMs on top of sky scrapers would only work if the owner of the sky scraper thought the workers in there were doing something irreplaceable and valuable, or if data (in the case of data centres) was worth the protection. I reckon if most saw something aiming at them they would just evacuate the building and make an insurance claim. You forget we are a nation of selfish people, target a neighbouring building, we wouldn't use our defences to protect them... if they didn't pay for any, tough! Likewise a numbers of soldiers, 25 million 'potential' but... if an invasion was in Hastings (history does repeat itself), selfishness, but 2 1/5 millions Scotsmen arn't going to pay their own way to jump on a train using their own ammunition to save some Londoners (likewise for Cornishmen, Yorkshiremen, Lancastrians...). Not going to start on law and order either. So I get your point but somewhere for our society to run there does need some centralised organisation to coordinate and make it all work.
  8. Today
  9. Looks like it was a nice oak, apart from the ivy, why did they want it down? Reminds me I was working for an Austrian guy last week, he tells me *all* phone and power cables are underground. They dont have a single telegraph pole, and roadside trees are frequently trimmed by a helicopter saw blade, so there are no trees arching over the roads, like we have here. He likes driving here, more scenic. I forgot to ask him, is there a ground crew to clean up the choppers mess?
  10. Some great ideas there Kram. Remember to print ‘ARB’ on everything. It automatically adds £50 to the value.
  11. There will be a pay back going the other way, I don't believe he does much unless there is something in it for him (usually $$).
  12. Think you are onto a winner (from me anyway) with the tool box. Just a small modification for other tools as well... and make them all stackable? So perhaps standardised dimensions (could go half width or full width for thinner / thicker tools).
  13. On the new cylinder, does the cavity the hole runs in to, get the crank case impulse from the transfer port? It is difficult to see.
  14. My twins effort.
  15. 😂😂Easily manipulated 🤔 Alcohol Mark !! Spare me the arrogance of the left tonight. The assumptions that are made around here by many 😂😂like I say a similar ideology buys you some serious slack. PS Those are not conclusions Mark, that’s from posts he’s put up.
  16. You jump to too many conclusions, that's why you're so easily manipulated.
  17. Give an example.
  18. Go on then, what happened on the 8th September? Someone had to ask.
  19. Wasn’t like that at all. Swung it all round except for the stuff over the lines which was cut small and pulled upwards.
  20. Take your meds and make sure the nurse tucks you in.
  21. Lifty lift, pluckety pluck.
  22. Or turn it into a fire sale?
  23. Yet you are happy with similar language when it fits your requirements, I refer you again to the answer given in Arkell v Pressdram.
  24. I don’t apart from he’s mentioned it’s the office he commutes to daily and it’s within the public sector, other than that it’s top secret. I’d still as a tax payer rather he worked diligently than pissed about on here. After all the public sector does have a huge productivity issue. Same question Mark why would it matter to the nosey bugger how many days I do on the mill or what usage my pick up gets etc etc, put yourself out there you’ll get picked off Mark. 😂😂😂****************s given 🤔0 You’re in good form today lad, I suspect my brain activity is a bit clearer than yours was at the weekend when you posted at 0230 🤔. I’ve said before having the same leftard ideology buys you a lot of slack on here.
  25. Sorry mate didn’t see you’re reply appreciate the advice though gave up with it after grinding through another casing and the clutch exploded
