Morning all, damp out but assured it will be a dry day. Got an awkward Conny to have put today. Over a shed, all needs to be rigged round to one side then down some stairs and zig zag down a slope. I had priced a 4th guy but one hasn't materialised so I will have to have my double dragging legs on. Steep ground, going to be done in by the end of today and then got it again tomorrow.

Good Morning Cheer up Doug. Summer is only a few weeks away. Not long now, push on through. Have a happy hump-day.

Astonished are we SP/TA, playing the we on this forum fantasy game again lad, Iβm open and honest and deal with facts, that pisses some off, you on the other hand are a totally obsessed anonymous blagger whom is in possession of as toxic a personality as anyone on here. Do not try and occupy some perceived moral high ground you obnoxious Walt. Or alternatively you could be honest and say what you actually do for a living or answer the odd question during debates. You donβt though do you ??, rather you slither in on any suitable opportunityβs or post to get your high off this sort of shite.

Exactly thanks for confirming what I said. Stop whining and hiding behind Alcoholism and now Depression Mark. Everyone in life has battles to fight , my eldest daughter survived Stage 4 cancer at 29 years of age, the consequences of which will last for the rest of her life, she got on with and was adamant she did not want sympathy or to be talking about it every day letting it define her very existence.

Yep, I'm retired now so my saws are only for personal use but I could really do with another battery, I know that the 500s would do my saw which I've had for 6 years but at Β£350 I'm swithering although at some point I'll need to bite the bullet. As you'll know the key to the efficiency of these saws is making sure the chain is always razor sharp and I've gotta say that I get a real buzz falling a big tree with what many think is a toy.... while they watchπ I don't know if your saw is the same in design as mine, but I've found that a definite potential trouble spot is that woodchip makes it's way into the inside of the sprocket/ brake so whenever I've got the cover off for cleaning I pop the E-clip and always find chip under the drum and I don't imagine that the oil pump gears are very robust so well worth doing. Cheers.

I have Goat Willow all around me on wild land, It's a total menace if you let that get established you'll be dealing with the problem for the rest of your life particularly in a city garden, once it gets established it'll put out runners everywhere. I don't think it would undermine your footings, but the fool is going to regret planting it in his garden once it starts to spread. If you don't want to poison it atm just wait until it shows up on your side of the fence and then hit it with Roundup 450 and that should kill the whole root system of that tree. You could also try watering his trees with extremely salty water... when he's not inπ

I see your edit. Facts are facts. Like it or not. Are you bum chums?

Mark you brought his name into the chat for no reason a few posts back if Iβm not mistaken. He had not passed comment on anything until you made that snidey remark. Correct me if Iβm wrong. SP/TA will be impressed you have stooped low enough to bring a manβs family into things ππIβve said many times keep kids and family out of the mix.

Dunno, I only have 500s. π Seriously, I'd say similar. I have enough batteries to usually cope with most jobs in the field, and I know that it has enough oomph for bigger logs/branches. Like all battery saws, low current drain = long life. Make them work hard, and the battery life drops off quicker, relatively speaking.

Nicely.

No one ever has to - attending funerals is voluntary

He's a troll. That's what he does. He'll go away again and come back eventually. Bit sad really but I suppose offshore life knowing that your bird is probably getting her oats elsewhere must be a burden.

No one should ever have to attend a funeral due to suicide... but it happens all too often, all walks of life. Astonishes me that he uses mental health as a way to attack others on this forum when it is a thing that Arb workers have an increased likelihood of suicide (along with farming, construction and ex military). The root causes are not something to attack another for, the end results are a wooden box in many many cases.

Yep agreed, I just checked the current price and I doubt if I even consider either the 220 or the 300 at todays prices, but the 220 Is my go to saw for firewood, although I'm also liking my ancient Husky 154 at the moment. I'm curious to know what the battery life is like on your saw with the 300 battery, I get about half an hour blocking up typical birch, but easy all afternoon if just randomly clearing small scrub as the OP requires. I did also recommend the Makitaπ cheers.

True. I'm out of that particular hole but many aren't. A good mate of mine shot himself three years ago. There is always scope to get better, the last thing someone who is on their arse wants to hear is shite like Andy's patter. Hopefully he won't have to go to a funeral of a friend who had a "Mental health condition". Wanker that he is.
