  2. It’s less a TPO issue, more a boundary issue. Was the boundary survey commissioned by you, them or both of you jointly? Are they bound by the findings of it, like a contractual mediation or arbitration? I sense the time for niceness has passed and you may need to knock a firm line their way before they take this liberty and then no doubt a load more after. I’d suggest a letter delivered by hand (video putting it through door), by first class stamp (video posting it) and by recorded/signed delivery that includes the boundary, an instruction to not enter or touch your property and the police call centre (101) reference (something like ‘Gloucestershire constabulary call log number 123 of 16th July 2025’). The 101 call should go along the lines of explain the background, say that you think your neighbour is likely to commit various criminal offences when they come pruning, get an email address to furnish them with documents (boundary survey, TPO application) and get the log number. A sign on the tree visible from their side saying RECENT BOUNDARY DISPUTE will make most tree surgeons walk away if they’re not going to prune it themselves. Assuming their balls shrink and they don’t do anything, follow the letter up in three months. “I note you got back in your box. Stay there. You’re still on my radar and won’t drop off it until you’re dead.” Good luck. Keep us apprised.
  3. Thought a few pics might be of interest.
  4. aye, 'tis arben myth
  5. ok, another tale of John. back when I was still working I would occasionally fell a few trees for a local landscaping outfit, I would usually get John a few days or more work, he was despite everything a good worker, he was still driving at that time so I got him on my lorry insurance, we would generally get the wood for nothing and we would sell a bit for firewood here and there and keep Johns mum in wood for the year, if we had plenty of spare after that any proceeds would get put in a jar for a bit of a night out at the end of the year, so one Christmas we all go for a slap up meal and a few,, beers. so we're all at Johns waiting for the minibus to pick us up and there's a knock on the door, thinking it was the minibus and being closest I said " here we go" and made my way to the door, I opened it and there's this woman and a bloke standing there?, " are you the minibus we ordered?" "no , Do you live here"?the woman said. "No hold on I'll get him for you" and I gently closed the door and went and told John, "what do they want" he says, "I don't know I never asked, go and ask them" I go back to the others and John goes to the door, when he opens it there's 3 people there, one is the minibus driver, plus the mystery pair, So John shouts "minibus is here" everyone is now standing in the hallway and John says "who are you two"? the woman announces,, "we're collecting for the local swimming pool, would you like to donate"? John says " I'm now going out but ok wait there" and disappears back into the house, we continue to board the minibus, so we're wait for John and the door opens and he steps out gives the woman a bucket of water, "There you go" and leaves them on the doorstep. we were almost at the restaurant before the driver stopped laughing. we had a great night out, next time I'll tell you what happened at the restaurant.

  7. if they come on to your land and cut the tree its aggravated trespass which is a criminal crime
  8. Who actually gives a hoot? As the university educated left wing socialist said. I’d imagine your view might have been different if a Palestinian kid had been put out for wearing some form of national attire. Or could it be possible “ you just didn’t get it “ 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️
  9. Thick as mince comment.
  10. It’s a persistent arb myth.
  11. Libtard left double standards Mark 🤔
  12. About what you say 🤷‍♂️
  13. I think utility sector have restricted them, UKPN guys told me they weren't allowed one. Can't see it in domestic.
  14. you'll be ok, cutting up a bit of fresh coriander, but just don't grind it up and snort it.
  15. A little black round thing?
  16. The choke is loose, and a bungee holds its back. On the list to tighten. I'll check out the things on top the carb. Ta,
  17. She'll get over it, I'm sure you will too.
  18. The girl was treated a bit like a member of the National Front, she is still saving up for her swastika tatoo. Her speech says it all - with all the ethnics from around the world in class invited to celebrate their cultures, this English girl was being made to feel that celebrating being British is tantamount to Xenophobia
  19. I heard the very same in 2014, and probably a dozen times to date.
  20. I see David Lammy has pledged £70 million of our money to Singapore (the fourth richest country in the world per capita) to improve their transport system. Just another example of Labour spraying money around with things like carbon capture and supporting farmers in other countries whilst cutting the welfare in this country.
  21. Who actually gives a hoot?
  22. I was talking to a few fellas yesterday and they seem to be of the opinion that petrol top handle saws are going to be made illegal or already are. As I’m looking to purchase one in the near future can anyone shed some light on this? Any info I find on the internet says that they’re perfectly legal to use as long as you’ve the relevant courses.
  23. Ha. I thought it might have been that.
  24. I refer to my initial answer then I'm afraid. Why do you ask anyway, planning something new?
