I agree, I think it’s an easy deal to make given the strategic realities, small population and the existing USA presence. Trump has started to enact what is electorate want and what he desires - he can little man Europe and doesn’t care about NATO, with Russia heavily stretched he is striking while the irons hot! With Venezuela’s resources acquired and if he can take Greenland he has secured a very prosperous future for America whilst weakening China and Russia. It would be interesting if he took Greenland by force as one NATO country taking another has never happened, saying that it probably wouldn’t be interesting as NATO couldn’t do anything about it (by interesting I mean historically speaking, I have no desire for it to happen).

@Mesterh if the car is running and you just put in D/drive it just takes "a bit of flooring" on accelerator pedal and you'll run over anyone at that distance. It does react slower indeed ,but in big trucks ,like Mercedes Actros 1851 without the trailer attached. Slowest from my point if view was a L322 range rover despite its 4.4liter V8. Glad I got rid of it. Fastest from stand still was in a friend's supercharged Range Rover.still V8 but forgot the exact model. Had about 400 hp. Have no ideea how fast is a Honda Pilot from stand still in D/drive but for sure I'm not standing in front if it . Especially with a woman driver behaving like that. In 21 years of driving or riding anything from Yamaha R1 to 40ton trucks I never cause an accident or killed anyone. At worst moment I got two(2) speeding fines because of me and the car in part(too much hp and too fun to drive it hard). I think it is pretty clear Trump is going to step up the pressure to get Greenland; but ultimately it will be a deal just like the majority of the current USA. In other words the USA will literally buy Greenland. They bought Alaska, Florida, not to mention the Louisiana deal that included all or part of 13 states; and others. As there is such a small population of Greenland they could easily make it worth their while and make a tempting offer to the Danish government.

Anyway, Greenland (I suspect that the shooting in the US has run it's course here now, ICE officer screwed up, woman killed, he will get told off but that will be the end of it). China taking Greenland? That is a bit of a stretch of the imagination. Russia taking it... again a bit of a stretch considering it is protected by NATO and Putin not likely to go up against us directly. There was a report that suggested Trump was willing to walk away from NATO to take Greenland - which would weaken NATO, and weirdly make the US more vulnerable to Russian attacks via Greenland. More likely that he has been listening to Sinatra, a realisation of his own mortality and wanting to do things "My Way"... leaving a legacy so his name lives on - taking Venezuela, the brief renaming of the Kennedy Centre - and so on strikes me as a vain man wanting to leave a legacy without realising just taking what you want or naming something isn't the way to do it.

Search engines, google,ebay, and others, anyone else notice how difficult it has become to search for any given item or information without the results being swamped with a myriad of non related items. ask for information on any subject and ai will usually come up with something totally unrelated and inaccurate. it's as if every piece of online information that ever was is placed in one specific place and whatever the search is for ai just takes anything from it and projects it as the answer. as an example I asked ebay to save a search for "TWO MAN OPERATED CHAINSAWS" among some of the totally unrelated items the search sent me were, an action man childs toy, ? and a rusty victorian pram?in addition to anything with SAW in the title. if this is how ai fails on such a simple request,, how confident can we be it won't feckup something far more serious. how reliable will it be using it's own polluted, corrupted view of the world.
