cleaning rope

Recommended Posts

Has anyone got any handy hints of methods of cleaning my wire core strop. I've been dismantaling nasty conifers all day and my new strops covered in sap. any ideas on the best way of cleaning it. Would beal rope cleaner get sap off with a rope brush?

If your bath has a shower head and the showerhead has a 'jet' setting use that on nice and warm. It will turn the sap to goo and it will all come out nicely plus the power of the water gets between the fibres and makes it sparkly new. Works with normal ropes aswell and make them come out really well!
