Re: front mount chipper on a mog
the back arms can be locked but my pick up hitch has its own rams anyway, but the trailer i am talking about weighs 5 ton empty, or i am going to upgrade my hiab trailer. so will be even heavier.

Re: front mount chipper on a mog
I use to drive a U900 with a front mounted PTO chipper; it’s a right pain. You may have to look in to up-rating the coils suspension. As the rear suspension is heavy duty you may be able to get away with replacing the shock Absorber's to heavy duty off road ones if the chipper is light enough.
Or you'll fine yourself bouncing down the road using the chipper as a plough :-) when its empty and not towing anything! |

Re: front mount chipper on a mog
I used to drive one, and so long as you don't go too big with it then it should be handy.
