would this go through a processor?

Processor i've used would take up to 14" but was quicker and more beneficial with 8-10" timber. The smaller stuff you could just cut to size in the processor and not need to split so it may work out :)

 

When it comes to bigger rings, they would be halved or quartered and dropped into the splitter part

 

So its possible.... just depends on what the cost would be in getting someone in or hireing one in yourself and your time etc...

It seems a shame to chip it for the power station. Its a pity that there arent any piles of wood around like this whose owner could have a "pick your own firewood" type arrangement where the pickers could be charged for whatever they took. I'd go for it, but then maybe im just strange ;)
