You may have things going on behind the scenes that make your counter measures appear to be doing their job when in fact they are not. You may need a Second opinion since your email server and or computer may be compromised. My email started acting strangely last wensday and I ended up having to call in a IT company to go through and scrub down every file of both office computers. A slight expense, however the peace of mind was worth the investment.

That is very strange, why would someone want to hack a forum? Sometimes your computer may be hacked even although you have run a virus program.

We have 2 virus checkers on our system at the office. Kaspersky and Webroot. Kaspersky doesn't pickup as much as webroot which seems to detect most things. It isn't expensive but worth it.

It's nothing to do with his setup, it's someone (an automated script actually) trying to guess forum passwords so they can post spam. Just make sure you use a decent password on your arbtalk account and not something hopelessly obvious.

Yep what John said.

Just be vigilant and only use strong passwords, which you should be anyway.
