Bar oils

Probably going to sound like a daft question but is chain oil chain oil or are they all different? I'm using the Oregon chain oil in my 550XP but I'm finding it too think if that makes sense. All the oilers are clear on the bar but it doesn't seem to do a great job. I turned the oiler up but it just started literally pouring out. Any thoughts?

You could be onto something there. It's been bloody cold the past few days mind you and it is kept in the garage. It's maybe just because it was cold
