I had a jonsred chainsaw for about 2 years and it had a lot of work and in the end it gived up, so I was looking for a good chainsaw and I was told that the stihl Ms362 are one of the best around

I was just wondering if any one could help me out and suggest something that lasts long than 2 years

There are threads on here about that saw if you put in a search . Some say that the clutch needle bearing won't last 2 weeks let alone 2 years . Never had one myself so can't honestly comment . ( Husky man really ) .........

I've had mine 18 months now. Stamped 2009 on the handle but sat in the shop that long! I pick it up all the time. Perfect balance of power to weight IMO. Wouldn't mind letting spud have a fettle with it!

Not had a single issue with it. It's been worked hard so far this year too!

I'm guessing you liked your j'red, so stick with the brand! Either 2156, 2260 or an orange j'red, a 560xp

Some mates and I bought 4 from the APF 3 years ago and they are all still going strong. Not the most exciting saw in the world but I haven't personally heard of any issues with them. The 560xp is a better saw on a smaller bar (15-18''), but I have to admit there have been problems with at least 50% of the ones I personally know of.
