I can take tipped loads of woodchip of most sizes. It's going into veg gardening so no nasties please. Any wood is fine. Just off the "Green" at Lymbridge, there is a short track (25m) signposted The Bower. Drive down it onto a large concrete hard standing with turning space. Tip the load onto the large lawn area. Easy to turn around and come out again.

Hi I'm looking for a a part-time forestry worker to work in connection with an estate management contract on the Hussey Estate, Lamberhurst, Kent. Work will be varied and will also include general estate duties. Pay will be dependant on experience. NPTC chainsaw and felling qualifications essential, plus experience with machinery. Other qualifications (Towing licence, CS 38,39 etc) a real advantage. The right person will also be working on other contracts with Discover Trees, where the work will include; tree surgery, forestry and agricultural fencing. Hi all My company are in need of a 24inch (minimum) chipper attached to a unimog (or similar). We are based near Sevenoaks in Kent, the job it's needed for is in Appledor. It's a load of straight willows that are being pollarded. It's a five day job with a crane on site and road closure. The road is very narrow so the chipping up unit needs to be along the road, not a side feed, if that makes sense?? Hence having it attatched to a unimog that it can chip straight into would be ideal. We would want to hire the unit, with opperator for the five days. It's happening in two weeks (17th march) so if anyone is interested please get intouch asap! We are waiting to hear back from a company but need a back up plan as they are leaving it very late to confirm!! Any help or interest just PM me and let me know how much you would charge. Hi All, Its my first time posting on here so I hope I have done so in the right Topic. I am trying to change careers and broach the Forestry/woodland management sector as I would like my professional life to contribute to the management and conservation of the ancient woodland in my local area. I have recently undergone and passed qualifications in chainsaw maintenance and crosscutting as well as felling trees up to 380mm as well as sourcing all my own Equipment and PPE in an attempt to make myself more desirable when applying for work. This being the case I am finding it very hard to actually find any vacancies/Opportunities for any forestry work in my area despite there being plenty of working woodland. I am hoping that there might be some folk on here might be able to provide some advice as to how best to broach the sector or possibly even a local contact (Canterbury, Kent area) who I could speak to about work in my local area. Any advice or help would be very gratefully received. Tom
