    Tipsite

Can accept any amount of logs, doesn’t need to be cut into small pieces. Access to the site by two locked gates down a track with enough room to turn around in the field with a semi hardcore base. If unable to drive through second gate I’m happy for you to tip in front of second gate down the track. Please get in contact for more information. Currently charge for wood chip due to less demand. ///boot.count.stuff
  2. Does anyone know someone that does mobile log processing in lincolnshire? Got a few tons to process asap if anyones interested?
  3. Hi All, In the past I have purchased failed rails /posts by the cord / tonne / whatever. I'm looking at next years supply and can't find any of the usual chaps selling. Anyone out there harvesting wants to sell a few tonnes? 3 or 4 x 2 tonne loads. Maybe more? Bob
  4. Hello, I live just outside of Cambridge (CB23) and will happily pay for unprocessed wood I can cut up myself and split for firewood. Hardwood, softwood or a mixture is fine, and it can be as knotty/rooty as you like. If it's seasoned, that's a bonus, but I'd not plan on using it for a year or so anyway. We have lots of space with good access so can accept a large amount if easier/better.
  5. Hi. Tip site always available for hardwood/softwood logs or cord. To be used by me personally for processing and burning in my logburner. Good access. Can help unload. Can grease the wheels with beers, cake, brews possibly a few quid. Can even stroke the dog Please feel free to contact me if needs be. Thankyou.
  6. We're happy to take arbchip and tipper loads of mixed cord and rings, but ideally looking for ££ sawlog sized conifer and happy to pay £60 per tonne ££ for good material that is delivered by prior discussion: - Thuja, Leylandii, Macrocarpa, Lawsons, Redwood. - Lengths: 2.1m, 2.8m, 3.8m - Diameter: 250mm small end and upwards - Reasonably straight - Knotty logs no prob, but not looking for multi stemmed spraggly monsters. - Minimal muck, metal, digger damage. Please get in touch beforehand, we have a diary to arrange just like everyone else 🙂

  12. New to the firewood market so any help or advice would be appreciated Through the day to day running of our business we get a lot of oak beam off cuts which we have been selling as firewood for years. To speed up production we have just put in a firewood processing plant and are now looking for more timber to build up this side of the business. I'm looking for round logs (not sure what the correct term is fit it) softwood and hard wood delivered to Pembrokeshire west Wales. Can anyone tell me where I can get this from or what I need to be asking for, and what price I should be paying. Thanks Celtic Timber
  13. Hi, I am trying to get hold of some sitka spruce cordwood samples, ideally 5 x 2m lengths up to 15cm diameter. If they turn out to be what I need I would need about 100 tonnes later in the year. Happy to pay for them and collect. I am near Gatwick so the closer the better. Anybody out there who can help? Cheers.

  17. Hi, I am looking for a delivery of several tons of hardwood to be used as firewood, cut in lengths of anything up to 3m, and diameter anything from 3 inches to 15 inches. I've been using local tree surgeons for a while and tend to get a lot of rounds which are not ideal with my log splitter. I'm based in Isleworth, west London and my house can be accessed by any type of vehicle, I just don't have the means to collect the wood from a supplier myself! Grateful for any responses or suggestions of who might be able to provide this. Thanks, John.

  19. Hi, I have around 25-30 m3 of mainly douglas fir and a small amount of leylandii. It is 2 years seasoned in an open barn and is nearly all sub 15% mc. Diameter mainly 20-30cm, originally bought to make kindling. Maximum length about 5m. Excellent access directly off farmyard. Buyer collects and no help available to load, but you would be able to work on site if you need to, for instance, cut to shorter lengths. Offers please for the whole lot as need to free up the barn for other uses. Thanks.
  20. Sorry if this has been asked before, couldn't find the thread. Looking for a good consistent supply of hardwood cord in 3m lengths if possible for processing? Price for both delivered and collected. Thanks in advance
  21. Is anyone in a position to supply me with Hardwood cord for a palax combi processor, I am currently looking to purchase 500 ton but I would equally be happy to purchase smaller amounts or if necassary a larger quantity to seal a deal. Please get in touch via the site or email [email protected] thanks in advance, Stuart
  22. I have a yard near Steyning in W sussex. Will happily take any cordwood you want rid of near there. Can collect if necessary. PM me for details
  23. Hi there, this is my first post so here goes........and I’m afraid these are going to be very naive questions. I am about to get my hands on a Fuelwood Kindlet and have a ready source of local community buyers for the finished kindling but I have to admit that I am struggling with sourcing the raw materials. To be even more specific, I am struggling with what to ask for! I have a cross-cutter to create the 6” rounds so need an initial batch of, say, 20 tonnes of hardwood/softwood logs around 2m long. Therefore my questions are: 1) What should I be asking for? Is it cordwood? 2) I am assuming that softwood will be easier to get my hands on but roughly how much would I expect to pay roadside in the south-east? Grateful for any advice. Cheers.
  24. I will purchase cordwood (no small pieces) that you cant get rid of or use for firewood i.e. conifer, poplar, willowetc... If you want us to collect it or you can deliver it to our site and weigh in there..... The prices range from £10-£20 per tonne, depending on where you are, amounts etc...... Give me a ring if you are interested in clearing your yard or site (minimum amounts we will collect are about 6 tonnes) and it must be in lengths of at least 7 ft.... Tel.. 07971624646 speak to Deb
  25. I have brought a piece of ancient ash and hornbeam coppice back into management, and have approximately 350 tonnes of 3.5m roundwood, up to 14inch diameter, at roadside for sale. It is near Robertsbridge in East Sussex. I am new at this, so can anybody advise me what the best way to sell this is, and what the current going rate is per tonne?
