Hello, I'm Michael Gillmor, I'm 17, I live in hertfordshire and I'm looking for a groundsman/some climbing. I have CS 30, 38 and I'm hoping to get 31, 39, UA1 and Chipper when I have the money. I'm Studying at Capel Manor and I'm a level 3 ARB and Foresty diploma The previous year I got a merit in the level 2 course. Hi all, I have posted on here in the past about this but not much joy, possibly due to the recession. I'm currently training at level 3 diploma in arb and forestry, and i would like to know if anybody would be willing and able to offer me a paid job with them. I don't have tickets yet but will be going for them once i can start to cover the cost of my journey to and from uni, and the expenses of the course. I have my own PPE, so you wouldn't need to worry about that, i'm willing to just pull brash to a chipper if needs be, but obviously if anything else can be don't i will accept. i don't mind chipping, i have transport in the form of a 4x4. i have already completed the level 2 course and passed with Merit, Last Year i have also had expirence with a tree surgeon a while back who moved out to Australia, He got me into this sector and i really really enjoy it. i'm on the outskirts of Gainsborough, about 15 minutes from Gainsborough, 20 from Newark, and 15 from Lincoln. If anybody can offer me a job fairly close by it would be highly appreciated and welcomed with open arms. if someone can help please do get in contact with me. Thanks again

Climber/groundsman (or women) needed, we work within 1.5 hours of SY23. We do a mix of domestic arb work, council tree contracts and bt line clearance. We also do footpath and bridge building but that won't be your concern (unless you wanted it to be) Must have at least CS30,31, 38,39, a full driving licence and experience. We are a small AA Approved contractor based on the glos/wilts/oxon border, we require a freelancer initially during September into October and maybe longer. You will need to be quick, efficient, have a minimum of 5 years experience & be able to supply references, clean driving licence (including trailer as a minimum) you must be able to do hedges very well, as well as large tree work to include rigging. Self employed arborist/climber/groundsman wanted in Putney, London Hardy Tree Surgeons is a small highly professional tree surgery business based in Putney, London which has been in business for over 12 years. We provide a high quality service mostly for private clients in South West and Central London. We pride ourselves on having excellent customer relations, being extremely careful whilst carrying out all jobs and leaving sites cleaner than when we arrived. We have not needed to advertise for over 4 years as the majority of our work is through recommendations and repeat work. We carry out a wide variety of work, ranging from small fruit trees to mature 200 year old oaks; courtyard gardens to private woodlands. I currently require a climber/groundsman to work directly with me (ideally sharing some of the climbing) for ~4 days/week initially but with scope to increase this to 5 days/week in the future and to work as part of a larger team on bigger jobs. (I am out pricing up jobs on fridays and ideally the applicant will want to do some of their own private work to fill the week). There may also be an opportunity to take over the buisness within 1 to 3 years and to develop it further or take on a managerial role with on-going support.
