  1. Run on aspen or motomix , won't get these problems
  2. Sorry I was going to write a response, stating how and why I know some of the above isn't correct but for legal reasons I cant comment further .
  3. Ive handled razor wire , for aggregate industries in staffordshire ,I prefer razor wire no gloves than barbed wire with gloves, ive seen the long lasting barbed wire injuries to animals than a clean cut . Whst I cant get my head around is that the ministry of justice pays millions in fines tonne home office for its use on prisons . Get that one. And I rarely see razor wire installed anywhere close, not even on mod bases near us .
  4. Sorry I tried to delete my post after reading it on the net ,what I dont understand is the ministry of justice pays millions to the home office when its installed on the prisons . To be honest ive handled both and id rather handle razor wire with no gloves than barbed wire, ive seen what damage it does to animals.
  5. The only people who can use razor wire is certain government installations, which of who have to pay alot alot of money .ie the moj has to pay a fine to the home office for its use on a prison .
  6. Can't use razor wire legally now
  7. Arrh u see , what the problem is ,if its to wet you cant re instate the hole if its too wet you get something called the pudding effect, type one goes a bit crap , the chunks of stone goes to the bottom , finer dust /water comes to the top ..thus cant be compacted. Nor can the job be finished
  8. One of the two is harder to get spares for,i. Can't remember if its the 3 litre or 1.9. Poss the 1.9 as farrier had one and spares were hard to get and expensive also, things like the turbo and also how something like the manifold was crap Please correct me if wrong .
  9. Looking at it id go in tripple , maybe quadruple the price, the job i looked at that was a pound a whip was easy, soft ,clear no roots ground and no coming back either . I did a job once like yours in staffs, (timberhonger) going was shite ,3inch of peat then the rest was a mix of quartz and roots .. the stumps weren't cleared off site and the aim was to plant 1500 whips a day ! Wasn't doable . Have you got much else on in the was of work . To be fair the trust that asked me to do the planting showed me other quotes not named , for 2 row hedgerow with natural clumping and a zig zag pattern, random clusters of trees 350m, was 2k and 3k respectively .guarded ,staked and no stock replacement either Not worth ****************ing around with
  10. Im still waiting for honeys to get back me about utility poles , thats 6 months ago
  11. Hahaha ,ive just had a the same problem, if its for a wildlife trust , same set up , labour only , dont get excited it is a £1 a whip ...that's it. To be honest unless its on your doorstep its not worth it .I had the same problems as above . So thought sod it better off walking away than looking at twat . The is also the problem of replacement should the whips not take, dont want to do that foc
  12. Try woodlots. Co.uk, might be of some help
  13. Got to be shit in pipes or fuel running back , the kubotas are easy to work on and bullet prof . Might be worth putting back pre filter before main filter to stop any shit even getting further up the system
  14. Ife an entec tree bustard in the container , it would wipe the floor with the above machines , eats what ever it can get through the infeed chute
  15. Good firewood, but can pop/spit , if not careful. Easy to split
  16. Also I know the has been issues with shite steel from Portugal/Spain in the 90s. Don't know if there any better
  17. Doesn't surprise me seens the average wage a month in Portugal is about 825 euros ...so a local was saying to me .
  18. That is not a good sign,😆 when reading this it filled me with dread knowing everyone wants to try not to pay out for more certs . But alot of it is in cpcs training. But I had the displeasure of driving a 3 ton grey thing , struggled lift 1/4 dumpy bag on a tight radius !
  19. If you did a cpcs above and below ten tons with lifting ops, that would cover alot of the stuff that needs covering
  20. Oh need to be careful of in house training as that can be a slippery slope also , ie what makes you a competent assesor/trainer .. get the same stuff with npors ,hence why cpcs works. I spose the closest thing to trees is getting the d90 ticket , for demolition, thats working with various attachments at hight .
  21. Stay out of lift plans as you'll go down the route of appointed person, slinger and signaller and separate insurances
  22. Check valves on a digger incase of burst hoses, and also an alarm so one doesn't overload the machine , I guess cpcs and lifting ops covers the operator
  23. Mew to me ,but why would you buy greenmech unless your going to close them down?
