    Rayburn

Ok cheers for the heads up. Haven't had the house long, will bear that in mind if we get loads of issues.

Bob is ya uncle and it was indeed simple, what I thought was just a light is also a button... pressing it has sorted it👍😁 Thanks a lot NoPedigree much appreciated 🍻

Ok wow thank you, will try that later!!

    Rayburn

Sorry this isn't really arb related but our oil fired Rayburn has suddenly decided to stop heating water... (oven part fires up as normal). Think the boiler and oven are 2 separate burners? When the heating/hot water should be on an orange light comes on at the bottom as per attched pic. Have got an engineer coming (when he feels like it) but in the meantime no heating.... Just wondering if its a simple fix? I've checked its not the pump/mororised valve. Thanks
  5. Let me know how you find it if you go for it!
  6. Following this thread with interest... I've a MS361 as my go to saw (love it) but my 15yr old brother is wanting his first saw. I've a MS181 which handles and cuts fine, just always been a bugger to start and feels a bit cheap so unsure if to recommend to him. V interested to hear the suggestions of Echo, so they'd sit up there against the stihl/husky domestic saws quality wise? (Not too fussed on vib/chain speed) He's looking at one of these; Husqvarna 120 chainsaw (38.2cc) (Version 2) (14″ bar & chain) – F.R. Jones & Son WWW.FRJONESANDSON.CO.UK Any good?? I've never tried one. Probably loads of similiar threads on here somewhere...
  7. TAKE IT SLOW!! It's not a race, normally goes wrong when you think you're a master at it, rush it and it exaggerates every little turn, you're jacknifed or put the trailer into a hedge or gate post before you know it.
  8. Maybe they spend a lot of time on holiday, you know specifically caravaning holidays...🤷‍♂️

    Stokboard

Thanks, yes will put it on the old steel bed, which is pants for shovelling off.

Ok hadn't thought of that, thanks for warning. Will leave an expansion gap round the edge.

I need new bed for the trailer, after something that stands up to weather, smooth to shovel off etc, sounds just the job will get some from mcveigh Billingshurst and give it a go. Used it years ago for chicken house floor, fantastic stuff.
  12. You mean Mitcham, near Croydon?
  13. Sounds an excellent scheme, have to say I didn't know it existed. Will start grabbing serial no's over next few days. Perhaps a link to it on this thread would make it easier for everyone?
  14. Tyre Suppliers | Trusted Tyre Specialists | Redstone WWW.REDSTONEUK.COM Redstone are tyre specialists, who supply inner tubes and tyres online, primarily to agricultural and grounds... These people are worth a call, be surprised if they can't help with the tyres and rims.
  15. Like everyone else I try to get the balance between safe and practical. I wouldn't start a saw without chainsaw trousers and helmet, otherwise its easy for it to become habit using saw without. But normal steel toecap boots and workgloves as I think risk is less in those areas (on the ground). I think decent workboots would slow a saw down, and stop it if you hit the toecaps.
  16. The police need to be much harder, big deal if a jornalist spends a few hours in a cell if it means the police are doing their job and getting the roads moving so everyone can earn a living. Everyone learnt at school, if you watch a fight you stand a risk of getting a punch on the nose or accused by an over zealous teacher of being involved... Doubt she's suffered any hardship, gives her another angle to report on, win win all round. I agree they prob should have used a bit more common sense and she didn't deserve to be arrested, but rather they clear everyone off super quick and ask questions after.
  17. Yes true, see Watt you mean
  18. I suppose it will electocute them anyhow, and if the trap gets them it's an added bonus?
  19. Smere a new trap with mud/dirt so they're not suspicious of it... they have v sharp nose and a new trap straght out the packet will smell odd... does it work? Yep (according to me)😄
  20. I've used them a few times, good stuff. May be worth picking their brains even if you're too far away to buy from them.
  21. Evolution do a circular saw that cuts wood and metal, blade doesn't get damaged by nails in the wood.
  22. I do it regularly, despite what the M25 is like your quickest and easiest route will be M25 then down A3. Or come off M25 a couple of junctions earlier onto M3, down to Lightwater junction and follow road through bisley etc to guildford. No secret short cuts really, that save any amount of time.
  23. Plant something else, if you really like conifer they grow pretty quick, be back up to that height before you know it. And decking shouldn't affect new roots. Annoying I know, but for the cost of a couple of new ones probably better than a drawn out battle with the neighbour?
  24. Nice set up, and good idea the 1t dumper v maneuverable those things.
  25. Anyone else stand in the beer queue for 15mins only to see a handwritten note 'cash only'? Just had a fairly mediocre fish and chips for £15! Stands were brilliant, organisation and stewards/security went out their way to be rude/unhelpful tho
