  1. Grooves is needed in wet climate, or it will be a very sleepy ,all decks I did in Ireland I removed after couple of years, and replaced with paving, concrete, slabs and so on . Too dangerous ,but around a hot tube it’s a must!
  2. Isn’t a Cedar is too soft for decking floor?
  3. If you can’t learn to sharpen a chain ,I don’t think you should touch a chainsaw its a basic skill my wife learned it in 30 minutes with good results!
  4. This 2 in 1 file is rubbish ,i have seen so many destroyed chains it’s actually dangerous crap, you don’t need lower rakers every time you touching a chain, anti kickback chains practically don’t need lovering rakers at all ,so I don’t recommend those 2in 1 to anyone, gimmick!Plus 4mm file is pretty flexible and not work well in that setup, in particular if you don’t know what you at!
  5. Forst ST6P there 400 hours no problems yet, seems ST8 have more problems than ST6 , maybe they use ST6platform for ST8 and that cause mechanical problems ? performance wise Forst IS VERY GOOD .Still good dealer nearby is a must and cancel all others small minuses in my opinion.I think build quality wise TP is best chipper I had experience with ,but parts and service support is very bad at least in Ireland.
  6. No wooden handles anymore unless for aesthetic purposes, never seen modern plastic handles broken ,only few on internet what is just manufacturing defect I think what is the rare case for Fiskars!
  7. X27 for big stuff x17 for small one handed operation .
  8. I use 80grams per 4 years ,and I cut hedges 6 mont per year every day ,this about the cost it’s nothing by any consideration. Correct method to replace grease is open gear box remove old crap from it and lubricate with medium amount of new grease don’t put too much it will break.

  13. 241 is very good on 3/8 lo pro chain it’s a reaper . But still 261 or 550 is better
  14. Get a loan buy new it’s only 200 pound more, what the point of 14 years lowed Trojan horse .If you can’t afford that you don’t need it.
  15. I had bad experience with Stihl 4mix rubbish, very bad design I would say .
  16. I did mulched tens of tons of this stuff and burned in stove and open fireplace still alive, however I did not eaten it by good amount so can’t say ,I did seen 8 dead cattle’s poisoned by eating lots of clippings!
  17. Since I got 2511 all others my toppers sitting in the shed not that I don’t like 150 ,but it’s the shape of 2511 it just sit in the hand very well ,once I reach big diameters I grab 261 so never feel the need of big topper , so I don’t recommend experimenting and just get popular model of well known supported by dealers brand .All those oleomac ,Makita and so on ……. well it’s Rubbish.
  18. If you can get both super ! If only one, petrol is the way!
  19. 20. Ukraine was one of the best part of USSR by living standards , at least when I was there! And those standards was continuing to rise after they got independence, problems started when big western and Asian powers start put dirty grabby hands in it.
  21. Very possible……. and they have a good reason!
  22. I can repeat everything gently if that change anything. But I believe in free speech.
  23. I like you all sofa warriors and kitchen strategist, how many of you was in Army? I don’t even ask how many of you fight in battle ,you all delusional idiots if you are supporting any military actions , in particular that you all are ancestors of most brutal colonial power , all your wealth is build and continue to exist only because other nations are suffering,if you really wanted to help Ukrainians , send your sons and daughters to the frontlines, your shitty government every day promises, but never really help ,so sometimes I think yes let’s the War beginn, and we (as I’m part of it) gonna loose , cause most of us fat lazy fagots and another perverts, who will shit in the pants once they see Roket in the sky ,and by the way you still occupy part of Ireland isn’t? And don’t say it’s different to Putin shit ,or imbecile Baiden, or ****************ing Sunak . So WW3 maybe a good ending to all of us, or maybe good old Covid 365 .
