  1. It really couldn't.
  2. Hubble, bubble, toil and trouble, I heartily disagree! Depends what you want from one as to how much use it is. When I got my dble cab l200 (as personal vehicle) it was the only thing that really met my needs. First thing I did was remove the back seats and build in their place a "dog palace" meaning I could take multiple dogs at a time for longer periods beside me in the cab, safely and in comfort. Any tools and fuel can go separately in the back, I can tow whatever, and go off road (which I do regularly). It even pulls the gang mowers at the paddock. Had it 8 or 9 yrs now, still fulfills the purpose perfectly and I've never cast a hex on anyone!
  3. He's our team leader now!
  4. Have to say I feel D- for execution is a tad punitive considering the baw exposure risk from lunging in such an exposed aerial position, when the crotch gave way he had seconds to avoid a custodial sentence!
  5. It's interesting I've noticed how dogs can be different depending on who they're with. Our little Poppes is so concerned about her routine when she's only with her mum, out before bed, out at the normal time in the morning, breakfast, she hassles her bang on time. When she's just with me she doesn't want out before bed and will sleep til lunchtime given the chance! No dog flap here though, only me being treated like the butler.
  6. You deserve it Stubby, all that cheering at the football takes it out a man! Does the dog accept you having a lie in or will you be in the bad books for the day?
  7. Morning all. Quiet this morning, is everyone still in bed with the crossword? Not much planned here, out for a fry up maybe? Probably shouldn't as I had one Friday lunch after an early finish, but... And then, maybe split the rest of the Ash I felled last weekend for my mate. Something very pleasing about the way Ash splits so nicely when it's green. Feels like a maybe sort of day. Have a good one folks.
  8. Lovely day, beautiful sky when I left for work and just got better. 12c, no wind and can feel the heat in the sun.
  9. Morning all. Friday, Dry, Mild. Have a good day folks!
  10. Good luck Bob
  11. Morning all. I hear it's reductions today, lots of them, in the rain. Can you feel the joy? Have a good day folks.
  12. The good old days, when I was a young brickies labourer everyone on site got glass bottles of juice every day. I'd collect up all the empties (worth 10p or 15p) and every Friday ate for free at the bakers.
  13. Is it doing the DPF cleaning thing because it's coasting under 30?
  14. Morning all. Managed not to wake up at work time this morning so that was nice, and its not wet or windy today so that's nice too! Got an ash with dieback to do, my mate would like it to be more log shaped than tree shaped so that'll be today's mission Have a good one folks.
  15. Nah, that'd be weasely recognised, pic looks stoataly different to me
  16. Morning all. Not happy I'm up, there's no need to be awake at this time today! Les, I suspect you and I will both be losers by the end of play. She has friends from France over for the game today, been taking a lot of stick about what the French will do to us at Murrayfield, but then I've had fun about them coming to Scotland shivering like a wet puppy, it's only 0c and sleety, what's wrong with them? Have a good one folks.
  17. When he opens it I'll bet the manual is in there!
  18. Looks good J. Good luck with it.
  19. Morning all, a happy Friday indeed. Weather looks miserable but no work today, physio first thing for me, followed by the cafe for a full breakfast. Happy days. Have a good one folks.
  20. What is it he says? Hands of c.... on with socks. Clearly he's not finished the first part yet!
  21. The daughter said "he told her when the puppies start fighting stop them with that brush". FFS, made me wonder if he was trying to get the woman attacked. The concept that an incomer/unknown entity to that household or pack was advised to use a brush to chastise puppies in front of the parents is madness. I suspect an awful lot of dogs would take exception to that.
  22. Sorry Ted, I just noticed I'd reacted with confusion to this morning's post, teach me to get the old peepers adjusted before signing in!
  23. Almost a game of two halves Les! We were lucky I think by the end, and your lads didn't half show they wanted it, was a good game to watch mate
  24. Morning Will, really sorry to hear that.
