  2. Not sure if I'm classed as a grade A problem solver, or no more than a low down cheater, but it's a good result largely thanks to markieg laying clues this morning, thanks for the reveal! Wordle 1,294 2/6 🟨🟨🟨⬜⬜ 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  3. That handle looks to be around 73"
  4. Great story Peds. Reminds me of an incident way out when I was just a cub. Not long away from my mother, I couldn't have been more than 400kg back then. Anyway, I'd taken to my usual day of wandering over the hill, berries and stuff, the sun was shining as I took my morning dump in the customary place, it's a habit that lets incomers know I'm here and tends to save any embarrassing encounters. All was well as I made my way down, munching, checking stuff out, scratching and pissing on things, happy knowing that when I got to the hot pools at the bottom I could chill for the rest of the day. Well bugger me, I went round the corner and if I hadn't have gone already I'd literally have shit myself! Right in front of me was a skinny, incredibly smelly little white runt of a thing, with really pretty hair. I turned and ran but he chased me all the way back up the hill, I know because I could hear his attack bell the whole time. Eventually it got dark and I hid til he went but the worst thing is, when I got down to my spa pool the next day the little git had been there and pee'd in it! Ever since then when I see one, they're just getting nailed. You ain't pissing in my pool shorty.

  7. Morning all. In early out of boredom. Was into bed at the usual time (as all good people should've been!) but woken I guess at midnight by some numpty with fireworks. Fell asleep again til 4 but now I'm up up. Coffee good, telly poor, if I had a dog I'd go for a walk. Does chainsaw = fireworks in the social hierarchy? Quite like to repay the neighbours for last night's 'show'. Have a good one folks. Happy New Year.
  8. Now Mr Rule declares the new year from a different timezone just adding to my confusion.
  9. You and I both! I find myself in bed at night, about to drop off, going over it in my head. 73". It's a lot. I converted it to 6' in my head which is of no help. I'm 5'8" ffs. I also tried 1.8m but that's no better, none of the metric variations are really. Quite a thought.
  10. I was fuming for a minute there Mark. Convinced you got a two this morning and had popped back up with a three. Why does he get double wordles? I've never been offered a special VIP NYT membership that entitles me to multiple daily wordles. This is clearly what's going on, you get multiple attempts and you post your best result, until today that is when you messed up by posting two results on the same day, a rookie mistake which will be obvious to all your fellow wordlers, you've exposed your racket, ha. But then I realised, I'm just so stupified by having no routine that I genuinely can't distinguish today from yesterday. And I don't even drink. I do apologise old chap, entirely my mistake, and well done!

  13. Now those are happy memories for me, been a long time but I'd happily spend the festive period doing that again. Nobody is as truly grateful with their gift on Christmas morning as cattle and sheep are!

  15. Won't go into any detail about security given that it's not just good people reading this. There are multiple cameras and the police got all the relevant footage, but it's obvious we can do some things better and improvements have been made.

  19. We do have trackers on some kit but they didn't touch any of that, although it seems that was luck (for them) rather than judgement.
  20. This christmas I got her a wall map of the world, gave her a dart and said wherever the dart lands I'll take you for a month's holiday. We're going to the little table beside the couch.
  21. Yayy! Gonna be my lucky day! Wordle 1,285 3/6 ⬜⬜⬜🟨⬜ 🟩🟩🟩⬜⬜ 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  22. Morning all. Happy christmas everyone. Have a good one folks, ho ho ho!
  23. He's away just now but been very calm about it considering Mick. Focus now on getting all the info together to get stuff replaced when the suppliers open up. Just starting to realise, we've all the climbing kit stuff listed for loler but it doesn't include so much wee stuff you accumulate over time, the stuff that makes your kit "yours". Start from scratch again.
  24. Early hours of 24th December the TD Trees yard at Edinburgh was broken in to and we've lost a lot of kit. I know it's a long shot but if anyone hears about, or is aware of anything we'd like to hear please, any info gratefully received. Two vehicles taken, a Ranger which has been found near Musselburgh, likely a write off but the Police have recovered it for forensics. And an unmarked white transit tipper MK15 OKA is still missing. Otherwise we've lost all our personal climbing kits, some rigging gear, and a lot of other miscellaneous gear. Saw wise we've nothing left, the list is extensive. 2 x 560xp 2 x 550xp 390xp ported with full wrap ms 661 ms 462 2 x 201t - 1 ported 2 x 200t Echo 2511tes Msa 300 with 3 AP300 batts 161t 151t 150t 2 x 357 Stihl Br800 Echo PB8010 Stihl BG 86 Plus 2 pole saws, all the hedge cutters, plus? Some of these are @Crocky ported and have his stickers on them so could be recognisable, as is the full wrap on 390. This has left us in a difficult position with commitments to call out work over the holidays and the usual programme of work lined up when we're back. If anyone's aware of something that may be relevant please let us, or me on here know. Thanks.
