  1. Looks a handy wee yoke all right, I had a quick search for any chatter about them on here last night, and lo! This thread appears this morning.
  2. There's a documentary about it on Netflix. Inside Job - Official Trailer | IMDb M.IMDB.COM Watch Trailer | 2:15
  3. He won't see 2026. They'll either get rid of him with the dementia thing, or yet another trigger happy Republican will take another potshot, but with more drastic results. They've voted for President Vance.
  4. Hang on, hang on. Let me check. Edit No, sorry, no photos of my ladder, but I used one to get a rope up into the ivy-covered tree, I swear. Edit: 2 sycamore, first with one half growing through the overhead wire, took enough off the top to pull it under the wire and into the farmer's field. Second one needed a few straggly limbs snipped to protect the cable stay on the pylon, then pulled down away from the wire. Wood blocked up (SMALL stove door specified... oh well), feathery bits heaped up for the woodlice to enjoy. Dogs walked, many sticks to choose from.
  5. Is there a secret handshake as well?
  6. I like your nails.
  7. Yeah, that's... that's not what the article says.
  8. Not sure why you think this is some sort of Gotcha!, because the article explains quite succinctly all of the problems that we, the loony left, have been shouting about for years: Trump's voter base are all idiots who can't discern fact from fiction, who like being lied to about the things that make them feel better, who can't accept that women are people too and it is their own toxic masculinity that scares potential suitors away... Are you sure you linked the correct article? Edit... Did you even read it? This is like Gareth thinking the Jonathan Pie video yesterday was making a point that helps your side of the argument... we are reading and watching the same things, and you seem to be extracting an alternative meaning from them...
  9. Mate, how could anyone forget the sound bath!
  10. Too busy, we have our freegan drum circle this weekend.

    ArbDogs? Pics!

Jack whippet sounds like a brilliant blend, I bet she was heaps of fun. Sorry for your loss, Bob.
  12. Then that's a particularly odd thing to say, and I don't understand where your original confusion lies.
  13. Make sense, dammit... the Jonathan Pie clip linked, or the Shie LeBoeuf film?
  14. Jesus, poor guy.
  15. Is that at me?
  16. One day, one day, you fine fellow... you'll learn how to share an image that doesn't share how much signal you've got. But not today.
  17. With regards to your last point quoted here, I fully understand, and despite being painted as such for whatever reason by a big crowd of people on here, I'm actually not that keen on Kamala Harris myself, but in a two party system you really do have to go with the lesser of two weevils. Harris is just such a weevil. To your other point, if you really want I can find a graphic or something on Google images that compares their record over time, but again, the different approaches taken towards climate change by the Repubs and the Dems have been made abundantly clear over time, that is to say: absolutely nothing contributing to anything worthwhile whatsoever, but acceptance and lip service and token gestures is, truth be told, a damn sight better than denial, obfuscation, and sabotage. So yeah, I'll take the smaller weevil who occasionally checks the weather forecast, any day of the week. Because it's better than nothing!
  18. Mate... if we ignore absolutely every other factor and facet of the election, all the felonies and rape and laughing too much, and focus solely on what either the Republics or the Democrats have done or intend to do or intended to do over their terms in office with regards to the global challenge of climate change, there is a fairly obvious choice for who would be better for the long-term health of the planet. That isn't even a question, and is freely acknowledged by literally everyone involved; it forms a core part of the impending Republican agenda. My sincere apologies if you genuinely didn't understand this, but it kind of feels like you are trying to score some a point of some sort here... when there really isn't one to be won.
  19. Don't worry, obviously anyone who doesn't believe in climate change doesn't have to have it. You are exempt.
  20. Absolutely, it's an unmitigated disaster not just for America, but for the whole planet. But, it's not all doom and gloom! There's going to be some really interesting telly for the next few years! Seth Meyers is generally funnier during a Trump presidency too, so that's a real plus.
  21. Hey now, this is quite clearly a bipartisan issue.
  22. You're absolutely right, sadly. America just isn't ready for a black woman president. These are the numbers... 3 million fewer votes for Trump than last time... but FIFTEEN MILLION fewer for the Dems. Pretty strong argument for mandatory voting, if anything...
