  1. Looks like an air leak would have caused that paddy. Changed a piston and cylinder today on a 660 and my first one and fired up on third pull so well chuffed. Nice to finally do one and see the full workings of it all
  2. Like having the will power but need viagra to get one started 😆
  3. Like this paddy
  4. Might be worth getting spud to service it for you and he can do any upgrades
  5. What saw are you using and in what area ? Take it your a welsh lad but you could be london or scotland for all we know. Area reflects on rates
  6. Why all the changes was it a dud saw then ?
  7. Sorry will post a new thread
  8. I will avoid milling with it straight off as it puts a lot on the saw and do some ringing up. Cheers stubby thought i would ask the No 1 to save messing about 😁 👆 Fingers crossed it will be ok 🤞
  9. Sorry to jump on another post but stubby i have just fitted a new cylinder and piston to a 660 saw and she fired up 3rd pull so well happy as first time i have done that job. Stubby does the new piston need to be run in quietly mate or something else i should be doing to

  11. Still flat out on them apart from the shagging aint you eggs 🤣
  12. I think the sex embargo is what keeps stubby on the ball 😗
  13. You might want to look at a chainsaw mill setup if your on a small budget as a bandsaw mill will be a couple of grand even making your own
  14. You get more out of a log with a bandsaw mill as well i find. Chainsaw is a lot thicker per cut than a the bandsaw blades
  15. Not seen roughy (saul) on here for a while hope he is ok and this would be one for him.
  16. Like stubby then are you a coffin dodger 🤣
  17. I load mine with a grapple on a mini digger and i leave the mill in the same place mostly. Your mate is correct and getting it level is a must really.
  18. I have bought a couple of new GB bars off rob this week and will have a look at his website
  19. I have an M7 and i think the F2 are easier as its the updated version of the M7/8 models. Take me an hour to assemble the M7 but if i need to transport it i just put it on my trailer so not really an issue.
  20. I tend to stick with the milling packs Rob D sells for chains and bars. Need to spend a bit more time looking at his videos explaining all the different options.
  21. Not the case they have a builders merchant as well as the wood yard selling to the public.
  22. Once you have used a bandsaw mill you will soon want one.
  23. That 881 as good as roughy says it is paddy
  24. What do you put our low quality down to j ? Just planted to close together to force growth
