Now you have that 881 and 72" milling setup why not start doing those oak slabs you have mentioned for the kitchen guys paddy. If you have oak available that is.
  2. You will kill that saw if you put anything bigger than a 16" on it. You will simply cook the batteries and half the life span of them. Its like towing a 5 ton trailer with a transit van.
  3. Wanna a bet musch but i hope he lives a long happy life 🤙
  4. Go back up your hill Gaza 🤣
  5. I would be using skates myself and perfect for what you are looking to do.
  6. Happens to us all mark 🤣Stripping down my sedgewick at the moment as it goes.
  7. You bought it like that mark to be fair mate 😗
  8. Ash will dry to 20% easily with a good summer if you can get it cut early enough.
  9. This is the bar i have and just wondered can i change the drive sprocket from a 3/8 to .325 on a 660. Still green on some inter changing stuff between different saws. I am a chippy so never needed it before but milling a lot now i am finding the need.
  10. Nice work there mate. Paddy do you know can i put a .325 drive sprocket on a ms 660 as 3/8 one on there at the moment. Got a saw off Rob D yesterday and i have a 28" GB bar unused i wanted to put on there.
  11. Jobs like that paddy is what will make you as a climber i should think.
  12. Not sure you can claim for a mars bar in your under pants (laundry) after a few to many eggs 🤣
  13. I pay my chippy £200 a day if i need a hand from time to time which i put in the same bracket as a climber. Different tools i know but still thousands of pounds in tools and a van
  14. A phone is still part of your kit paddy same as your truck and work wear clobber
  15. 20% is still what a subby climber should be putting aside as still contracting in a sense like a chippy-bricky would to a firm and its only the payment method is different
  16. Spot on with all the allowance for kit you buy
  17. You vat registered paddy ?
  18. Spot on mark
  19. If they sub on cis tax is 20%
  20. Imagine giving them trigger for a week 🤣 Big heavy scottish accent on a remote welsh island with 30 monks.Be the last you would see of him as most likely eat him.
  21. £200 a day in tenby 🤣
  22. Anyone who has used a modern day bandsaw mill would not touch that with a barge pole.I am all for old machinery and have some big 3 phase stuff but that stenner looks a death trap. More of a resaw that a sawmill.
  23. Not a project i would be undertaking with the availability of bandsaw mills now.
  24. Before tax without doubt working for that firm
