  1. Get a grip man the guy is a sole trader working out of a van not a multi national with millions of pounds of machinery.
  2. What you charge is your business and nothing to do with anyone else.Nothing wrong with £180 for 4 hrs work and your doing the correct thing by buying new equipment but only buy what your going to use not what you think you may use.
  3. What size was the inverter you bought for that big thicknesser mark. Guy on another forum is in the same position and was it a 7.5 kva ?
  4. God you come out with some crap. Some of the stuff you post is utter nonsense.
  5. I have long long time been a closet shedder 😁
  6. Bunch of shedders on here getting so will end up with a shedders club.
  7. Hope you get on with the neighbours as you would not comply with planning on the size of it.Rather large to get away saying its a man cave.
  8. That is a big man cave
  9. Why the hell would you risk a blade trying to cut so low.Just put a 2" timber under the piece your cutting with stop block, its pretty simple and a lot safer.
  10. Loads of smaller stuff when processing logs so should not be an issue. Try a log in the burner and see what fits best.
  11. Put a timber on the bed and cut the last piece on top of that if you need to cut it less that 2" Just screw a stop end and side stops to hold it in place if that makes sense.Very much like in the photo but you have no stops to hold it in place.
  12. If your going to build a cupboard in the garage then use an oil filled rad with a loover door on it (quite safe) and vented
  13. More of a DIY all round tool.Like a slimmed down version of a kitty combo
  14. I think everyone will have a different point of view on this question.
  15. I purchased it off the big oak slab cutter treetech
  16. No it was a private sale after i posted looking for one.
  17. More or less the exact same thing to be honest.I have used the f2 also and apart from colour i could not tell the difference.Bought mine off one of the lads on here back in april but its just not been used as i have the bandsaw mill. I would stick to a ton log and max it at 24" but roughy goes a lot bigger on his.
  18. Chris i have a logosol M7 i bought off one of the lads on here i do not really use. Its setup to mill 5.6 m long
  19. I would have been £60 on that jack for 100 mm thick
  20. These things have to be done so hope it all goes smoothly.Any issues just blame eggs
  21. What was that wide slab mill you bought a while back gav ? Peterson ?
  22. Seriously large saw to cut 1200 mm wide slabs that is for sure so looking at a peterson type mill on your budget.
  23. Loads of vids on the tube and thousands and thousands sold world wide and big is the usa and canada
