  1. Considering buying this chipper brand new. My van with tools in weights 3200 - 3300kg and it needs to go in the van so I can't really get anything bigger unless I get a second vehicle. Figure I can take the m500 and my whole arsenal of tools for clearances and fencing and pull the tipper trailer that'll take 2.5 tons including cage and ramps so I can just throw branches thicker then 120mm on to the trailer no problem. What are your thoughts? Ta
  2. Nope. Got a fine young Mrs. I sincerely would rather she wasn't there tomorrow so I can focus on getting done and getting paid but I did find it comical.
  3. Perky, not big. Medium. Super stunning face, slim but not skinny. No other info can be gleaned in mere seconds other than "would smash"
  4. Told the Mrs about it and would you believe not the tiniest bit of jealousy. Just laughed in my face.
  5. I swear it! Swear, swear, swear, it happened.
  6. So I turned up at my next contract and knocked the door. They were expecting me and had said go right ahead with whatever etc.. and there was no answer so I went in the garden.... As I walked into the garden I look around and notice windows were open etc so thought shit better go back and knock again and look up and there's a stunning naked women sitting up from a lounger on the balcony. I said oh shit, sorry, sorry, I did knock the door and did a runner. Go round the front all flustered and shit and wait for her to emerge. Absolutely beautiful woman opens the door and I apologise again profusely and she say no it's OK I'm a model, I'm used to it. I said er, well I'm bloody not jesus christ lol.... I am not joking but I seriously hope I don't have that to contend with over the next 3 hot days.. OMG.. Thought I'd share...
  7. Thanks for all advice ? Massively hung over ATM so rock climbing/ finding a big tree will have to wait till next weekend...
  8. That is very good info. I will look first thing in the morning for somewhere I can go tomorrow. Will feedback on how it went
  9. Like most people I'm not particularly scared of heights, it's more hitting the ground at high speed that bothers me. Anyhow, I have worked at height at times in my life. Wasn't pleasant but over time I got used to it and thought not much about it. In the past it's taken me a month ish to acclimate and not be crapping myself the entire time. So, in 2 weeks I'm doing climbing and aerial rescue and using a chainsaw in a tree and aerial pruning. It's been maybe 5-10 years since I've been above 30 ish feet and I will be working at 36ft up a tree. Anyone got any pointers on how I quickly get to that relaxed phase you get into once you've been up high for a reasonable time? Don't want to thinking about the height, but learning and absorbing info while i'm up there if you know what I mean. Ta
  10. Finished this today. Designed and built the gate myself on site. All tenon and mortised. Wont be doing that on site again. Massive pain.
  11. My labourer is a stoner and he's awesome. Obviously got a memory like a sieve but that aside, on the ball, works very hard, good attitude and zero hassle. Stinks of ganja first think in the morning lol. Only quibble is the forgetfulnesses. 10 times I've told him to leave batteries in drills and drivers only and leave their bits in place but everything else gets de batteried and put into the recharge battery bag. You can't have it all. I'm neither. Been there got the t shirt, video, computer game and tattoo. Was a total spanner when stoned also. Good for **ck all. These days I limit myself to an absolute max of a 1/3 of a bottle of southern comfort or 2/3 of a bottle of port on a school night. That's about the worst I get, thank god. Things I did in the past are unimaginable to me now.
  12. Quite surprising to me. Give me a stoner over a coke head any day.
  13. He's supposed to be doing fuck all at 14 OMG. I was doing ZERO at 14. Barely school even. Then again for 2 years at 24 (civilisation 3 I think saw a lot of action at that time). Now I'm an 80 hour week but not for long. Sod this.
  14. This debate is not about what happened in the past. It's about feminism now. First wave feminists were damn legends in my eyes. They did what they had to do and I am glad they did. Just because white men for the last 1000 years had control means absolutely nothing to the here and now unless you want to punish the descendants of those men for crimes they didn't commit. And before you say men hold more high powered positions in business, it's true I know. It's cos their are stupidly driven by ego, pin dick syndrome or whatever other narcissistic drive you can label them with. Women just aren't stupid enough to be desirous to work 120 hours a week and endure a lot of pressure. Good for them! Why is it a privilege that I'm less likely to be raped than a woman? If it is indeed as such, are women privileged cos they're far less likely to be beaten to death? I don't think so. And actually I have been sexually attacked by a girl. In the back of a taxi, she was drunk as a lord and climbing all over me, literally tearing at my clothes. I never pressed charges though. Would have taken all the fun out of ripping the piss out of her the whole week after. Stupid cow. This feminism, me too, liberal victim award show we currently live in is a load of shit. Unless you happen to be a black, transgendered, homosexual midget. In which case I say roll with it and run for prime minister, god even. Utter crap and I'm sick of it. Every individual struggles in their own way.
  15. How about you put your money where your mouth is and explain, precisely, where the privilege is being a man? Last time I looked we get off the sinking ship last and we are conscripted during war times etc. etc. Don't get me wrong my fiancée is precious to me and I make a point of seeing she experiences little to no hardship and that's the way it should be IMO but she appreciates I am a man and I am willing to suffer for her comfort. How will modern day feminism improve her lot?
  16. I don't think you're really honestly considering what that women intended to happen to those guys. Me personally, I'm totally serious about this.. I would rather be raped than go to jail for 20 years and have everyone I know, including my family and friends possibly think I was a rapist for the rest of my miserable life. I mean really think about it. You get 20 years taken away. You get your whole world torn from you and everyone you know thinks you're the scum of the earth. There is NO coming back from that. Maybe your mum and dad might believe you. Maybe. You have no career afterwards, likely no job at all. What do you tell your new friends on the outside about the reason you're on welfare for the rest of your life when you are a seemingly intelligent and capable human being? Oh, er, yeah I have a conviction.... What that vile creature attempted to do was emotionally and physically torture 2 human beings for the rest of their lives to get some kind of compassion from a guy. She is the ****ing devil and feminists with their supposedly egalitarian outlook should damn well have something to say about things like this but they don't because they are absolutely entitled hypocrites.
  17. What I would have done! Except I'd have tipped the lot. Wes weren't you banging on a few weeks back about turning the other cheek in my shed saga or am I confusing you? lol
  18. I should change the title to one of the many reasons I hate feminism. Modern day feminism is injustice!! Even women know it, that's why 95% of them don't consider themselves feminists. At which time when men are; - receiving more lenient sentences for committing crimes - being found guilty in lesser percentages for committing crimes - not being drafted in times of war when women are - not having greatly inferior divorce settlements to women - not being expected to do the harder, more dangerous and physical jobs - getting equal and fair rights to the custody of offspring - getting "any" assistance at all from "any" organisations that cater for domestically abused men - getting preferential treatment by employers aiming to fill quotas and then men start a "Masculinism" movement and complain about their unfair and unequal treatment... at that point in time I will shout as loudly about the utter injustice and outrageous sense of entitlement and the profound hypocrisy of masculinists!
  19. Isn't every 50 hours a little excessive? Kohler are bombproof. Would have thought every 250-500 hours for an oil and filter change?
  20. Local council estate near me that I get the odd call from. Don't like working there cos they likely will go for the lowest quote and also I can't leave anything lying around out of sight for a moment. How does one go about declining work that is 2 miles from your front door but is a bit of a pikey area?
  21. I appreciate what you are saying and yeah you're right that you just can't know people. Still I'd like to see these statistics. If 1 in 6 women truly have been raped in the uk then I am shocked.
  22. Well I disagree but it's a pointless debate. No one knows. For sure there are a lot of scummy men out there but it aint 1 in 6. Anyhow, a man in Canada was convicted of raping several women and he did time, some decades, as I recall. The guilty man was caught and he was subsequently released from prison and received millions in compensation. The victims, with the help of a third wave feminist legal organisation are currently suing the innocent man for his compensation in court. That is your 3rd wave feminism for you.
  23. I does not prove feminism is bad but I don't see feminists beating their drum for fair and equal punishments for those who A- carry out damn evil acts or B - devalue and demean those poor women who do experience such a thing. Regarding 1 in 6. In the western world I simply do not believe that. I've had intimate relations with 15 or so women. 4 long term and not one of them told me they'd been raped.
  24. WTF I just passed B & E maybe 2 years ago and I pull a 3.5 tons tipper trailer regularly training close to 7 tons. Are you telling me I need an operators licence now also. And that my vehicle setup counts as a lorry so I can't park at my house anymore? Please explain
