Yep theres probably more damage done to nice trees by people cutting into them to kill the ivy than the actual damage caused by ivy

I don,t see it as the big problem you are making it out to be,it provides habitat for a whole host of wildlife including birds,bats,bees,butterflies,insects,etc,etc,doesn,t do harm to healthy trees,maybe looks unsightly at times,what,s the car crash we are heading for with it?

You have to do whatever you can to protect your stuff,but in reality whatever you do if they want to get in they will.I had a new container from Cleveland containers and had four good locks on it but they popped them off one night easily and took the kit,scumbags,i,m not trying to be negative but it,s a hell of a tall order to stop the ba&&ards these days
