  2. Looking at the pictures it don,t look like they have got a boundary fence,just a balcony,probably not the best of replies to someones first post on the forum,they were only asking for a bit of advice
  3. As you said your experimenting,so have a go at what you reckon and see what the outcome is,all part of the fun

  5. Betty goes apeshit at the pigeons,chases the fu&&ers off down the wood for miles,by the time she,s stopped running the ba&&ards are back at home
  6. We got a couple here but as you say Andy they are pretty cautious,never seem to hang around for more than 10 mins at a time,also the long tailed tits only seem to put in one appearance a day,thats not for long either

  8. Fair play to her,some of us will do anything to save our dogs,Betty cost nearly two and a half grand in the end but its gone now and we still got her thats all that matters

  10. Yes Stubby all fixed up now mate,bloody lucky to still have her,she,s flat out at work everyday now again with me
  11. Yep,we have 2 pairs pretty much all the time Stubby,the one pair are nesting about 50yds from the house this year which is great

  14. Yes i use a Merry Tiller,but always dug over by hand in the winter months first

  16. Finally got round to the veg patch today,4 rows of Charlotte potatoes and 3 rows of beetroot.Got some seeds going in the greenhouse aswell,lettuce,broccoli,leeks and starting the onion sets off in trays this year as I’m a bit late with them👍

  18. As you say,its almost a continuous effort to keep numbers down.I pull my traps up after a week of catching and then reset them a couple or three weeks later and can catch as many again
  19. I find Fenn traps pretty effective,had 33 last week,had 8 traps down over seven days in 30 acre wood.A lot of young Oak have been ruined where they,ve barked them about 3/4s of the way up

  21. I never read the bit where he said 18" bar,mines on 15",wouldn,t put 18 on it
  22. Another for Makita 4300 great little saws.bought mine last year and its brilliant
