  1. its been 2 weeks since we heard anything, I hate it when trouble saws are not reported on once they've been in to the doctors.
  2. i'll have a pound on that the piston has picked up.
  3. A plate will do nothing to overcome the movement, the gap between the slot in the bar and the studs is so big I could drive a bus through without my glasses on.
  4. lots of saws in the Worcester area on the police auction site, Do you recognise any of yours? https://www.bumblebeeauctions.co.uk/XcAPViewInCat.asp?ID=23&CMD=&OwnerID=&VIEW=MAIN&page=1
  5. Sounds fit on the phone? add 4 stone was always the way I was told by my grandad. I once phoned a local insurance agent and her voice was amazing so I just had to go in the shop and see what she looked like. Yep he was right.
  6. If there is excess oil around the clutch area I would see what the housing is like, these saws have a tendency to wear away the casing and break through to the oil pump channel so when its running its pumping a little oil onto the bar and a little oil on into the clutch.
  7. Warming up any spring and re bending will cause a weak spot and give you a false sense that its fixed and will fail when you need it the most.
  8. Ebay it as spares or repair and then once sold buy a brand new one and have a good Christmas and new year on the change.
  9. your saw is 020av you have bought a clutch for a 020t, they are not interchangeable
  10. Are they really faking Ms180? If you are wanting one and have anything about you that you would swap the rings, bearings, and seals for genuine parts making the cost rise to about £90 so you may aswell buy a genuine one for twice that and you know its a quality item with bar and chain and with warrenty.
  11. Will be a build up of shite and lack of lube, spray with oil and put the pullers on to pull it up at least 1/4 inch that your puller will allow and then it should wiggle by hand off.
  12. But that is not what the op put, the difference in his figures is 30 thou.
  13. Still wont make any difference but it is actually 30 thou difference not 3 thou
  14. Its someone you know im afraid.
  15. So youre on Question time and you are asking what questions should be asked, I suggest you give up your ticket and let someone go on who has their own questions and answers to the reply. Typical BBC numpty.
