  1. Dose any one else have any videos they have recorded showing multione loaders working, ( or thinking about it, not wanting to appear biased towards one brand ) videos on any loaders working.

  3. Just show you guys this, Wye valley axe men have used a multione loader for the first time a couple of weeks ago, they thought is was a stronger better built machine than others on the market, you can see wye valley axe men again in the forestry section of the Royal Welsh Show in Builth Wells 24th - 28th of July
  4. Or you could say " you end up with more for less "
  5. Thats the one, Thanks for popping it on this thread Mike,
  6. Just jumping around on you tube & I found the following, A Gehl AL750 wheeled loader Tractor pulling, yes Tractor pulling, it was hooked to the sledge & a championship tractor pulling event in Shropshire over the bank holiday weekend, I am not sure how to add a link address to a thread, so if you look at youtube & put the following search in . < Gehl 750 loader - tractor pulling > !! Can any one tell me how to link a you tube posting to a thread ?
  7. If you say the rock, will peal off if you hit the seam correct then a ripper tooth to free the material up is awesome, if it is hard hard rock then go down the breaker route, if an electric breaker will move it then a ripper tooth on anything above a 2 ton machine should get the job done, a ripper on a 5 or 6 ton machine will also give very impressive results, the other thing to consider with a machine mounted breaker is noise pollution, no noise with a ripper tooth, 51 yrs old now, been driving construction machinery longer than I care to remember, please let me know how you get on
  8. looks like tony ( in a younger life ) had been working on some sort of proto-type mixing device, you could almost be certain its a proto-type of some sort, as its green !! BB
  9. Looks impressive Peter, what is it going to be ? Looks like it is on the left as you drive in BB
  10. Yes Hi there, We use to know a guy 20 years ago who sold the Thomas mini tracked loader, When Thomas stopped trading the same guy had a go at selling the yellow boxer loader, at the time boxer were building a radio controlled loader & we had this on test using it along the south coast , we were working on clearing gravel & sand out of 6ft dia storm drains emptying onto the beach, high tide was washing the beach back up the pipe. the radio controlled machine worked well for this application as long as you had clear sight of the loader, we had also used it in a tunnel cleaning contract clearing the tunnel after small collapse's, it kept the operator away from the danger zone. The Thomas and the boxer were never any good as a loader & been stood on the back of the machine to drive it is very dangerous as it will throw you if your not very careful, After our experience using Thomas & boxer in specialist applications. We looked 10 years ago at importing the " Ram-Rod " machine from the USA but the more we looked the more we asked ourselves if it would work, we decided not to import the Ram-Rod & it was the best decision we have ever made, Its a very neice market & there is a lot of competition with manufacturers all grabbing at compact loader market, My advice would be to leave well alone, put your effort to something else enless you have won the lottery or you don't need a quick return on your money of time.

  12. Another local County Council is providing a HGV mot prep & monthly inspection service for haulage contractors in their area, this they say is to keep their workshop profitable so it is not closed, if it keeps their fitters in work it cant all be bad, " or can it "
  13. Just picked up on this thread, One of our local County Councils had created their own " Hire department " To hire the kit off them selves, I have heard favoured sub contractors are also hiring the kit to do private jobs, to get better neutrulization of the machinery " from the Councils prospective " They are also using a full team of sub contractors to do the tree works they cant do them selves,
  14. Could not find our cheap pedestrian stump grinder, so we hired one today the best £65-00 we have spent recently, thank you every one for the advise.
  15. Ha Ha, yea we are looking a couple of hundred pounds needing work, we have 4 or 5 small stumps to get out , its going to cost a couple of hundred to hire one for 2 or 3 days, so you can see my thinking. Thanks for the reply.
  16. dose any one have an old manual stump grinder for sale, we will consider anything even a damaged or none runner ( must be cheap ) cash waiting can collect 75 mile radius of Shrewsbury.
  17. Very impressive video clip, would have never thought that could have been possible, will use ropes & snatch blocks next time
  18. Any one else had a mail shot letter from Beddoes machinery, they are now the newly appointed Multione loader dealer for Shropshire & surrounding areas, looking at the information sent, the Multione machine looks seriously OK, If we had not just bought another loader after selling an old Avant a couple of months ago we may have been tempted, oh well never mind
  19. Right this stump your digging out, We removed a complete eucalyptus tree about 3 years ago, she was 28 - 30ft tall & measured about 30" across the trunk, the stump was a monster of a thing, the ground had been built up around it about 10 years earlier, we brought it down starting at the top & once we had a stub about 8 ft long we stopped cutting & started digging, we used a Neuson 2503 mini digger with a 12" bucket ( 2.5 ton ) if you start with a wide hole right around the tree ( the roots are smaller further out ) then just pick the soil off what is left, ( undoo the root ball by pulling it to bits ) keep pushing & pulling on the 8 foot trunk, once the stump breaks lose stop digging & finish the sawing off, then work & roll the stump in the hole to get as much soil removed as you can ( this will make it lighter ) a 2.5 ton digger should do a fair job if you are patient ( just take your time & think about it ). We moved a 15 year old willow with the same digger, we dug & dug & then dug some more, we ended up with a hole about 22 foot across & to find the end of the tap root we were 12 - 14 foot deep, we lifted it out with a 9 meter telescopic handler moved it about 20 yards to the left & re-planted it in a new hole 12-14 foot deep, as we filled it back in we burried a short length of hose pipe leading to the tap root, the tree was kept well watered every day & she lived, we are told the tree is now about 30 years old & we have cut it back twice to date.
  20. These Pixey loaders, I saw one last year at the Royal Welsh Show been used, I was dropping some machinery off there the week before the show started, It was been used to move some kit around on the Winstay display stand with pallet forks, when you here one running & you watch it work you are left in no doubt why they might be a cheaper machine, it is obious they are trying to copy Multione & Avant, they still have a seriously long way to go, in my opinion, dose any one own one of these machines yet or has any one ever used one on a job ?
  21. Dose any one have good pictures they wish to share from today's work
  22. Yes I see what you mean, the wheel rims are the same, the engine cover is the same, the loader booms & z linkage are also the same, oh yea & the dash boards are the same, " Looks like these 2 machines come from the same place " :confused1: Dose any one know the true country of origin with these 2 products ??
  23. Just checked your web site, your compacr telescopic loader has the same boom design as a Weidermann , dose this machine also come from China, do Weidemann know you coppied their machine ?:thumbdown::thumbdown::thumbdown::thumbdown::thumbdown::thumbdown::thumbdown::thumbdown::thumbdown::thumbdown::thumbdown::thumbdown::thumbdown::thumbdown::thumbdown::thumbdown::thumbdown::thumbdown::thumbdown::thumbdown::thumbdown::thumbdown::thumbdown::thumbdown::thumbdown::thumbdown::thumbdown::thumbdown::thumbdown::thumbdown::thumbdown::thumbdown:
  24. Sorry, my fault it looks nothing like a multi one loader, this is one of these re-badged chinese monstrosities , "" An I correct "" :001_tongue::001_tongue::001_tongue:
  25. Looks like a Multione do you get them from Italy & re-badge them ?
