  1. Wednesday is my day out on the road visiting customers & also finding new customers, today my trip took me North, to Oswestry, Wrexham, Mold & Chester, & home again I called to catch up with Tim at Wrexham tool hire, Tim buys chippers & mini diggers off us. I spotted a chainsaw carving in the corner of his show room ( see photo ) when he bought the business a couple of years ago the carving come with the stock, can any one tell us who carved it please ?? . Lets see some other master piece's / share images of your work please.
  2. Here we go then, We done some serious test work mid summer with the tornado mower & it blew us away with how it worked, We tested it in many types of grass, lawn, woodland walks & road-side grass grass verge ( The good, bad & ugly as far as grass goes ), the machine of choice to power it was a MultiOne 7.2 , the 7.2 has just under 40lpm aux hyd flow, this falls short of what is recommended by MultiOne for the mower to work to its best, we wanted to really give the mower a handicap for the test so less oil going down the pipes seemed like a good idea at the time, the tests were conclusive with the result, this mower is smack on & it works, we tried hard to block it in long grass, as long as you were sensible using it as intended, we failed to block her, even in wet grass, please see attached photos, you might be pushing your luck with 420 as the hyd flow as it is a fair bit short at about 30lpm. ( our conclusion from the test is that the mower works fine for every day cutting on a MultiOne 7.2, if you need a good quality cut chose a machine with 60lts + hyd flow to get a faster blade speed ) Look no tubes to block or damage by them hanging out of the side, Beddoes Ltd - Shropshire
  3. Absolutely Brilliant , we done some demo & test work mid summer, using this mower & it left all our staff lost for words with its performance, ( photos + report following ) in the next day or two.
  4. We are selling a after market 48" loader mounted fork & grapple, very very well built & it also doubles up nicely as a multi-use timber / brush grapple due to its build, ( not a silage grab ) Beddoes Ltd - Shropshire
  5. Hey, but been serious now, For an old type Avant 528 you did not do to bad, Your machine looks tidy you must really look after her, The older Avants with the double section telescopic boom always seemed to lift a load better than the more modern single piece boom found on the newer machines.
  6. " well done, at last " whoops off she goes again, You need a MultiOne.
  7. Really wish we could see if it is a " MultiOne on the other end pulling
  8. Kevin, why do you think it is parked " Back end down hill "
  9. We tried to fob " Smurf " of telling him this was a " Green - MultiOne " but he noticed, he threw his arms in the air & demanded a Blue one, saying " Blue is best " Guess he does know his stuff after all,
  10. Going back through our photo collection for the last 2 or 3 months, We had almost found the Multione's lifting limit with this lump of tree but there was still spare, To be honest " not a lot but there was a bit left " We have got a few more photos we will try to post over the next week or two, Beddoes Ltd - Churchstoke
  11. not had a problem to date, we also have a 12' flat trailer with 6' hook in ramps & they are a fair bit steeper, we have not noticed a problem with that one but you do have to be a bit more careful ,
  12. That's got the job sorted nice sized bucket, less journeys = increased & better tyre life.
  13. Lets see what every ones loader ( Multione or not ) gets up to in a normal days work, Here's one of our ones off out on demo, I can report the demo went very well & it looks like we will have an order shortly / Beddoes Ltd - Shropshire
  14. Saw one working a couple of months ago & yes it work'ed ok , taking into consideration it was mid summer, it was been used on some very damp land.
  15. No problem, Pleased we could help.
  16. We had been selling Avant loaders for fifteen years, In April 2017 we switched to MultiOne still having Avant products & attachments in stock, you are correct thinking the hydraulic connectors are not the same, We have not had a problem fitting Avant attachments to Multione & not had a problem going the other way, Multione attachments onto Avant. Hope this helps you & good luck. Beddoes Ltd.
  17. Do you mind me asking what your thinking of doing with MultiOne & Avant attachments ?
  18. Have a good look at Wacker Neuson, they do, ET65 / 6.5 ton, short tail, choice of tracks + tripple boom + extra hydraulic services EZ80 / 8.2 ton ,zero turn, choice of tracks + extra hydraulic services EZ90 / 9 ton, short tail, choice of tracks + tripple boom + extra hydraulic services All wacker products are backed up with a 36 month factory warranty, there are a range of fully loaded options & extras to fit their range of machines from 1 ton to 15 ton + 2 rubber ducks, 3 piece booms don't get fitted to zero turn machines because of the lack of rear end weight, Wacker have a dealer network covering the Uk , We are more than happy to advice you should you need any more help , we have been selling Wacker Neuson machinery since 2005. www.beddoesltd.co.uk / 07798 832 834 / www.wackerneuson.co.uk
  19. I have had it from good source that it looks very much like a coopers axe , these were used for making wooden beer & cider barrels,
  20. Interesting post, In theory yes if you chuck more oil down the pipe to the motor & it dose note choke its self then yes it should turn the motor faster giving the feel of 2 speed, the question you have is where to find the extra oil from ! , We use to be Timberwolf dealers a few years ago & yes there machines were painfully slow, the Greenmech machine in our opinion is quicker over the ground ( model dependent ) I am sure there is something in health & safety that says the chipper can only go a set speed when your on foot, ( if its to fast you may run yourself over ) BB
  21. Been thinking about that axe, the handle don't look up to much, your a mad man if your swinging that thing over your head ! Its a one handed axe looking at handle , fire service would still have my bet for smashing windows of doors & then pulling the timder bars out of the way, may be early 1900's , this is not going to be standard issue in today's service , unless your station happens to be in a small old time Welsh village,
  22. something to do with the fire service would be my bet, don't think its to new maybe vintage
