  1. Just found this looking back through old threads, any one else got any photos showing multione / avant loaders, lets see what you have guys :biggrin:
  2. Saw my first " Multione " in real life on Wednesday, did anyone else go to the Lamma farm machinery show, there was 2 or 3 machines there had a quick look over them & yes the concept of this type of machine with a telescopic boom dose seem very appealing indeed, as stated in earlier posts it dose look a very well put together machine with a good solid back end, there seemed to be 2 Avant dealers there, both competing for the same business, I think they had both seriously under estimated multione & did not seem at-all worried there was a 3rd contender showing their product. I also saw what looked like a Chinese " Japper " machine, this machine was not in the same leuge as multione or avant so there was no time was wasted looking at this. We worth a day out to see how farm machinery has moved into the tec age !
  3. Just wondering if any one has a Multione or Avant loader for sale ( must have telescopic boom )
  4. not me, just lucky " the right place at the right time " not all days are bad days & generally if you have more good days than bad things will be ok:thumbup:
  5. The mechanic come today & replaced the 2 damaged hydraulic pipes on our Avant loader, he asked if we would consider selling it , Thought it worth asking how much he would offer, " knock me out with a feather " he offered £1200 more than we paid for it last week & he even said he would do the hoses for free so we are now in the market for another used Avant or Multi one loader if any one has one for sale.
  6. Thats good to know, We think we have decided to run this on for a bit, we paid the right price for it ! , She should sell for more than she cost & thats when we will upgrade to a new or better machine, It will be good to know a mini loader suits our operation before we commit to a new or better machine, just out of interest do you have a dealer you use with your Avant loaders, or are you " do it yourself " sort of person.
  7. Had a good look around the machine about an hour ago, could nit see any chain drive it looks like the motors are mounted to the wheels, the oil leak turns out to be a hydraulic pipe worn through, rubbed on the one next to it, so a couple of pipes next week should get that fixed up & working again,Dumper had your ones got telescopic booms, It is the one thing we are missing.
  8. Thanks for that " Dumper " we hoping to have a quick look later on today, Just out of interest you say the old 520 is better , have you driven both new & old models to make this assumption ?
  9. Good morning, that is a good observation the same argument can be used for all mini loaders !If something falls of the back of the bucket & slides down the boom it will hit the operator as they all lack front protection eg windscreen. The Avant loader we bought looks like a lemon we have used it for about 3 or 4 hours & it has now started to leak oil ( a lot of oil ) from under the seat Should have paid the money & bought new, looks like it was been sold because it is buggered. What is likely to be leaking a lot of oil from under the seat ?
  10. Just took delivery of our new toy today, A mk1 520 Avant, also had the chance to give here a go, Really thought we had picked up a bargain but now we have it we have found out it is an early one with no telescopic boom & it also has a fair bit of play in the centre pivot joint. In the machines favour it drives & lifts Ok, should give us a insight into mini multi loaders over the coming months,
  11. Have been fighting myself for the last 3 or 4 weeks looking for a mini loader, the comments on this site have been both helpful & confusing, we had looked at skid steer & avant ( both of which we have used in the past ) , I had a real bug bear eating away in my mind asking me if we were missing a trick by not owning / running a mini multi loader. We have purchaced a used Avant 520+ ( mark 1 ) today to get a feel for mini multi loader, been an older model it was not to much to pay & it will give us a chance to assess the concept of these mini loaders. Thanks to every one who have passed comment, you have all been helpful ( one way or another ) good luck to everyone out there, We will give an update in the coming days or weeks & let you know how the machine works, once we have used it for a bit.
  12. Looks like more like a Schaffer ( not sure where the Weidemann has gone )
  13. Has any one else ever used " Giant " or a Weidermann type loader for anything & if so how did you find stability ? Any interesting experiences or " tales to tell " :blushing:
  14. when I say what size machine I mean what width machine , are there tyre choices ?
  15. Please give honest opinion asap, what sized machine are you looking at ? / & what work do you have planned for it ?
  16. Good evening every one, We are still trying to get an understanding of the mini loader market, Avant & Multione have been the main topic of conversation in quite a few of the previous postings, dose anyone else have any views, photos or experience with other brands they could share, We would still like some member guidance before we make any final decisions as to what machine we should look at buying ,
  17. But its a Landini !!
  18. If you put your Multione along side an Avant 745 or 750 what would happen, is any one better or worse than the other ?
  19. What multi one are you running it looks to be doing a smashing job ?
  20. Nice job on the bucket using a steel 40 gallon drum,,
  21. We started this thread asking about " mini loaders " what are you peoples views on / 30hp hydro tractor with front end loader ?
  22. If you all ready own a digger a grapple will be a low-cost way of moving material,
  23. whoops ' did not mean to be so aggressive with my last posting, Strong & simple is best ( I should know if any one dose ) Happy new year to you all,
  24. Glad to see someone with " simple engineering mentality " 2 loader arms must be better than 1 off set loader arm, Take JCB robot skid steers as an bench mark with one arm on one side, The machine is right hand side heavy, always turns to the left when pushing hard over long distance, always wears the right hand tyres out 1st & because the single boom is off centre to the right the right hand side of the bucket will always wear out first, 2 piece central mounted boom have to be the best, & if you can also see the hyd ram & hoses that to is a bonus. Fact = JCB developed a single arm front end loader to fit a Mf35 for the French agricultural market in the 1960's, If the single arm is so good why did that never catch on ?? kEEP IT SIMPLE & KEEP IT STRONG.
  25. " Thumbs up " just had a quick look at multi one on face book, very very impressive machine, checking Multi one against Avant on their respective web pages the Multi one dose seem to be in front of Avant when you compare all the specs " like for like ", We will be speaking with Multi one next week to find out who the nearest dealer is, Can any of you guys recommend a Shropshire/West midlands based Multi one dealer ?
