  1. Hey, don’t leave us old ones out
  2. Good luck curing the problem. U can only “manage “ it. Honest question. How can you make the habitat less viable without harming the ecology of the whole wood?
  3. i heard they used a TW13 chipper and flushed the slurry down the can
  4. wow, I want one, then I saw the price. they look just the ticket. no, gotta have one so just ordered, thanks
  5. Wtf is that poster behind him? The days of our glorious empire ffs? I hate the jihadist tosser as much as the next person but he has to break the fecking law first to be put in jail. Is this bloke a fascist that believes in jailing people without due process? I would like to think the two million is protecting us rather than him
  6. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has determined that coal tar creosote is a probable human carcinogen. Long-term exposure, especially thorough direct contact with skin during wood treatment or manufacture of coal tar creosote-treated products, to low levels of creosote has resulted in skin cancer and cancer of the scrotum wash yer hands when having a piss
  7. Saw the thread, thought oh good, I will post some pics. Seen the excellent examples on here and have deleted my shite work from the hard drive in shame[emoji26]
  8. That’s not sporting
  9. The video is just with my night vision set up. I shoot [emoji883] with sub 12 .22 at 25 m. 177 or 22 at appropriate zero, aim, compatible pellet and job done
  10. yeah, i'm not saying there is not great skill involved with holdover?plus that rig is with FAC .22 35ftlb do not watch if squeamish
  11. Old buggers can be wrong just like young studs like me
  12. This headache causes bleeding from the ears and restless legs syndrome for 10 seconds. I’m gonna pm you what .22 does Too graphic for the bleeding heart liberals on here
  13. Stubby stubby stubby. A sub 12 should be just that...just under 12. I shoot 22 and it’s accurate at my zero at 25 m. There is nothing between 177 or 22 bar personal preference. A pellet that suits the rifle will give the squizzer a headache
  14. I don't understand. the creosote damaged the corrugated panels?
  15. it's a never ending problem so get some fun out of it. I shoot mine with a sub 12 air rifle on a bait station and also use a couple of Kannia 2000 traps whish are lethal. I see Roe deer eating the corn from the bait station as well as pheasants. squirrels are lovely in a stew as well
  16. It’s gone down ta. Still sore but on mend
  17. 18mm plywood covered with felt. I couldn’t wait to cut planks as my temp drying tarp blew away[emoji26] The wind didn’t do much good for the sycamore either [emoji23]
  18. My half finished drying shed, all with green wood bar the roof. As soon as I mill it I fix it. The middle two decks for drying timber, the ends for logs Will have it finished in 3 more trees[emoji41]
  19. I shiplapped the lawnmower shed with 1” thick spruce and no significant warping after a year. Still water tight I did have to reposition the padlock bolt by less than a cm though
  20. Get stretched. [emoji8]Silk gossamer gloves are enough for berberis. The pyracantha went straight through my “gardening “ gloves
  21. Necessity and endless supply of wood coupled with high price of preservative has meant in the past 12 months I’ve built a lawnmower shed, a shed for my chipper and a drying deck, all with green wood and no issues whatsoever. I’m gonna build a man shed with seasoned wood but thought I may as well go ahead and do some decking with fresh spruce. What’s the worse that can happen?
  22. The fruit goes well with gin though
  23. I do not think the blackthorn carry bacteria, it is because they readily break off in the skin and so go septic
  24. Infection doesn’t act so quickly, could only be allergy or chemical ie irritant
