  1. However the LA Mayer said he had it under control, had not requested federal support, Trump over ruled him, sent in the military because the protestors were protesting against Trump mostly. 4 days of localised protests is not something out of the ability to control of any state. Noting also that in many of last nights news reports there were more reporters covering the 'riots' than there were actual protestors! Note here a comparison might be that Trump was notoriously quiet on January 6th when protestors (on his side) were tearing up the Capitol Buildings, it was left to local government to request National Guard support.
  2. Like him or not, Musk has some great come backs!
  3. ... Putin doesn't put up with protests and dissent, Trump shouldn't either! They spit at the police so send in the military.
  4. Jesus, you are a stifling bore. There is a reason I left that unanswered and that was to avoid another thread becoming another Johnson D'Senior Dating hate fest like so many threads you are 'contributing' to. Better off ignoring you to be honest. Now back to the headliner... Trump and Musk, what do you reckon?
  5. Ahh, distractions, but any thoughts on the headliner, Trump, his latest news is his implications in The Rapist Epsteins files, or are you just going to keep distractions with attempts at insults and attacks on all other members? There will of course be more Trump news today, suspect him banning travel to the US (again, because that appeased the baying MAGA mob last time). However still think that Musk publicly coming out with the Epstein stuff is more damaging for his presidency and the mid term elections. Any thoughts?
  6. Anyway I digress, Trump (this threads current headiner), bestie of the child trafficker and rapist Epstein has been outed as being in the 'Epstein Files'. At the very least an enabler of Epstein with his inaction allowing Epstein to continue, I am not sure if this would affect his presidency, what do you reckon? Your thoughts bypassed the forum I think
  7. Oooh, Johnson D'Senior Dating, I can do a screen shot, how cool is that?
  8. Oooh, Temperance society calling. I see drinking is bad now then?
  9. oh, that's a surprise, who knew eh? Apart from everyone...
  10. Musk worked for the US government for the allocated 130 days, walked away and then slated Trumps 'Big Beautiful Bill', and there is one thing that Trump hates and that is criticism. Musk was biggly criticising it and the proposed tax rises, which is understandable when Musks role was to cut government spending, Trump then increased it. All the analysis is that Trump isn't saying much about Musk because he know Musk could wipe him out and still wants the finances ($100 million promised) for the mid term elections... but lets watch this space.
  11. But in 5 years there will be no trees / remains and no privacy screen either. Plan for the future now I think,
  12. Generally agreeing with you Mark, but I reckon those that would be passing on the advice are the advisors rather than the security services. Security services is "is this person going to kill / attack", and are not there to make a moral judgement on who they should associate with. The advisors are the ones who should be saying "look, no convictions but... massive rumours and perhaps you shouldn't associate with them"
  13. Depends on the level of checking they did. Basic would be "have you been convicted of anything", go up a level would be any financial problems, nationality and so on. Have to go up a few levels before you start ticking boxes "any rumours about sleeping with children" (note any convictions would have shown up at level 1)... So if Saville was never alone with Charles or Thatcher, then from a security point of view the checks needed wouldn't need to that deep... wouldn't need to be.... That is on a pure security thing. However both had advisors - not necessarily security - who should be keeping an ear to the world - and I reckon it is these that weren't doing their jobs right.
  14. To bring the current discussion into some relevance of the thread, those close to the notorious paedophile - Saville - must have known, fair point, "know someone for 20 years2, but that might also draw parallels with Trump and his best friend, the notorous paedophile Epstein, who he knew for 20 years.
  15. That's the one, though I don't know if it has penetrated as far as the racists on Linked in and the senior ladies are probably too old to care. -Edit- I assume it is senior ladies. I shouldn't make assumptions
  16. 400 people didn't read the papers that morning "Ahh,he is dead, I'll speak up", there was a snowball effect, soon as a couple of stories in the press others thought "So I wasn't alone, there were others" and also made their complaint / allegations. Is often the case with the rich and powerful
  17. Fulham football club?
  18. OP sounds reasonable with a reasonable neighbour, very often these post ignore this simple advice:
  19. Though you will dispute this, Savilles case never got to the desk of Starmer for him to make a decision on it, the fault lies further down the chain with collection and presenting evidence to the CPS, and (not a fault) a reluctance of victims to come forward to help make that case believing - as is often the case - that they are the only ones, won't be believed. CPS doesn't dictate what is investigated of course.
  20. Cannot see the problem when the saw does it for you, 2 stroke oil in the left, fuel on the right, as mentioned above just like a bike.
  21. Of course a few weeks ago, and I'll have to check of course who was whinging, that the UK wasn't spending ENOUGH on defence. Cannot have it both ways.
  22. Just go for a dating app, apparently all the rage - I guess dominatrix, gay, straight, senior, anything
  23. Is that so. My comment today was to ask if Trump was loosing it, a valid concern. However considering the thread headline is POTUS, and not "Past Presidents" commenting on the style, actions and policies of the current president is a very valid post to make I reckon.
  24. It is the insinuation that has been made in this thread before by others, you'd be best off asking them.
  25. They probably don't, my friends know what they like, a decent cup of Yorkshire Tea will see them good.
