  1. Tinfoil hat time but I think its slightly more nefarious that that.
  2. I bet they sell too. Theres an old woman my way selling a massive, and I mean massive wind blown Beech in her garden. £50 for a small trailer, ie 1 ton max, and folk are driving 15 minutes out into the sticks to cut it up and load their trailers. I told her to get back to me when folk have finished cherry picking the smaller branches.
  3. Nothing on earth would stop me being at my daughter funeral. I'll leave you with that.....
  4. I’m so so sorry to hear this. I hope you fucking twats having a go at him now are ashamed of yourselves!
  5. So much for everyone being bloody skint. ?
  6. So you're quite happy to risk spreading a virus that can kill and is wrecking the economy rather than cancel a family get together. Disgraceful selfish attitude, you deserve every bit of flack heading your way. Geeez, chill out Petal. Wait for the facts before mounting that very tall horse of yours. Its the Coffin Dodgers that are at risk anyway, or folk who already have serious issues. Both those categories should be well into isolation by now. But they're not, they are dithering around Tescos. So spare me the self-righteous indignation. If whoever attends this gathering are young, fit and healthy and will not be coming into to contact with those at risk then crack on. If there is coffin dodgers there and are happy to take the risk then thats on them. Id do the same.
  7. Loads of foods in all the vets. Expensive yes, but better having something than nothing
  8. Brent Crudes trading at $27 a barrel just now. Norway invested heavily in the kind of tech I do for a job. Intelligent Completions - Halliburton WWW.HALLIBURTON.COM Halliburton Intelligent Completions is the world's leading provider of intelligent completion technology to the upstream... Meaning that the initial outlay for Drilling and Completing a well is very expensive, (yet recouped in a matter of weeks of production) but this results in a break even point of low $20's for many Platforms we work on here. Thats including having most guys here on 2 weeks work and 4 weeks off, all the tax the Producers have to pay etc. Not sure about the UK these days though? Even with the crap conditions and 3x3 rotations the boys have there the UK's break even point is most likely still above $30. In 2016 it was low to mid $40's. Im putting 10% of my Salary into my Companies Stock as we have a very good deal.
  9. This lock down ain’t so bad.
  10. Then on the other hand we have senior medical chiefs telling us we need herd immunity to get through this. Im still in the 'this is a load of bollox' camp just now.
  11. I think he's relating to his own empirical evidence, where as you are spouting gibberish you cant back up. Anyway, yes it is worrying when you have young kids. I also have two wee ones 9 months and 2 years, plus two older ones, 18 and 16. So we're kinda in the same boat. My Wife was crying when I left for work today, as I'll be away 4 weeks minimum and things can go down hill very quickly in that kind of time frame. Im not overly worried though, if kids do catch it they do seem to pull through fairly well. If any have died, and Im sure there will be the odd case, they will either be from a 3rd world hell hole and/or have other serious and most likely respiratory issues. My 16 year old volunteers on a ward of old folk. How they are still letting her do this after going to school I dont know? She chats with the old uns and brings them tea and biscuits. How this is allowed to continue I dont know, as its the older people who are to frail to fight it that are dying.
  12. Its the Robert Sorby 3 3/8" Slick I have in my basket right now. If they took paypal Id have it ordered already. Got a Swan Neck Mortise Chisel on the way (ebay) A Corner Chisel (too small) and a 1/2" Mortise Chisel arrived today, so I was able to squirrel them away before the missus found the parcel.
  13. My Brother bought me a Laphoaig Brodir, very nice. He brought up a bottle of Perpetuum last time they came for a visit. I'll have to keep an eye out for a bottle of Corryvrecken then. An 18 year old Highland Park is high on my list. Like a slightly smokey Christmas Pudding in a glass. Perfect in front of the Stove.
  14. Down to 20! Any advance on 20? You cant find a single link to back up your nonsense? Maybe you should follow the Docs advice and stop scaremongering?
  15. Its a 15 year old Bowmore. But hats off to you, thats a lovely drop! Im trying to read my new Timber Frame Construction book and getting no where. Im also trying to figure out where I'll be hiding all the new tools I'll need from the wife. Next on the list is a Timber Framing Slick. Mmmmmmmmm.
  16. What medical advice have I asked for? What Medical advice was even offered? Yes please. Sounds pretty.
  17. Ive been in the hotel room for 3 hours. Ive got snacks and peace and quiet. Its bliss. I fail to see how arguing the toss with the likes of Mark J and now this other loony makes me a Bellend? Could be one of two things, or a combo of both; 1, I actually time to respond to twat posts. Where as at home I dedicate my time to my family. 2, There's not been any real action here for a while. We needed something that brings out the more bonker elements in people. But no, my fighting days have long gone. Its much more fun winding these Wingnuts up
  18. Ok, so we're at 54, can you better that? Lets see the link. No point in shouting out numbers if you cant back them up is there?
  19. I am mellow. Ive not even had a drink yet. But if being off-shore turns me into a Bellend what's your excuse?
  20. Why dont you post a link up with an actual case? Start with the youngest and see if anyone can trump you.
  21. Then we have you howling at the moon trying to contradict an actual Doctor who's at the coal face of this 'pandemic'. You could not make this up.
  22. I read it here people? Written like the simpleton you are.
  23. But some twat on arbtalk is getting his panties all in a bunch and spounting nonsense! Im not sure who to believe, you or the deranged doom-monger?
  24. Pipe down,. A real Doctor has spoken.
