  1. I did four x 1 hour courses on-line then had an on-line meeting. Rather productive day considering Ive not left my bed.
  2. What about getting back to the part where we where all racially abusing the people of China? That was fun.
  3. I agree, the mass killing of innocent unborn babies has to be the best possible solution. But why stop there?
  4. Which many feel strongly about and agree thats exactly what it is.
  5. Why not? If you have a baby with Down-syndrome you can 'terminate' right up till the due date. If thats not murder then I dont know what is. Yeh, obesity should also be included. In some of the news articles there is 'shocking' cases of fit and healthy people with no underlying health issued who are fairly young dying from The Rona. They where seriously fat, they must have been either obese or clinically obese. If these folks are being included in the 'fit and healthy' bracket its really scaring actual fit and healthy people for no good reason.
  6. We should absolutely be paying them more. We should be paying those who are willing to volunteer as well really. I dont think anyone here would grumble about paying a little more tax to cover that bill?
  7. Ah I should have got that. Yeh, its clear that in light of a lack of strict rules we in the UK need a big bloody stick to keep us in line. Tinfoil Hat time but I really dont think we should be giving our government any further encouragement that is what we need in the UK. Start setting precedents like this and they wont give us the option next time and we'll actually welcome it. Yip, there is certainly a lot to be said about having significantly fewer people around the world. Almost instantly we see a huge radiance to the environment. Yet we're sold we can house significantly more people with no detrimental effect to mother nature. Hopefully we can start to see thats simply not true and the latest sentiments from Sir David Attenborough on this subject are finally heeded.
  8. Gonna be the tip of the iceberg I think. So soon after the last down turn this ones not gonna take any prisoners. But yet again will be absent from the media. And Im getting a little tired seeing all the 'Sad Faces' of NHS workers after 12 hours wearing PPE. Bloody hell, we have to do that week in week out. Im not trying to belittle the sacrifice they are making, but focus on that and not the Daily Mail Sad face and a few lines around their mouths. And yes, classed a Key Workers, hence why I was allowed to travel to Norway when all other non-nationals where banned. I wonder if Ill get to skip to the front of the line at Tesco when I get home? Maybe I'll leave my mask on and adopt the sad face too?
  9. I dont know who FM is? Anyway, Yes, we have two options, have a state much akin to India where everyone is flouting the rules and gets whipped with sticks. Or we an rely on peoples good judgement, which I think the UK is trying to implement but in reality we're acting like India. We just dont get to beat the perpetrators with a stick. But we blame the government because the people are acting like animals and only thinking about themselves. Its hand rubbing time for Corbynistas but a sad day for everyone else.
  10. I love the flow of it. But why is there not window?
  11. Its a mixed bag here really. As mentioned earlier we've booked out a whole hotel to quarantine us over-sea's workers. What I did not realise is the hotel is full. All 31 room's (its a small place) Hard to tell as we all kinda keep to ourselves, but as the sun was shining a few of us had a chinwag earlier on the veranda. So all Halliburton but different departments with different union rules. Some are on UK contracts, some on Norgie. Some just in the door some of us with 10 years plus. Anyway, I asked my Manager whats in place if I, or a close family member comes down with The Rona. he never replied for a good 2 hours, which in itself is telling. His reply was quite corporate. The UK Government has recommended all UK citizens return to the UK. As Im here voluntarily I am free to return to the UK whenever I want. So basically he's washing his hands of me. If I say fuck it Im going home he cant stop me but then Im lighting a beacon for getting furloughed. There is also no longer any flights to actually get home. So I really have no option but to crack on here and hope no one comes down with anything stronger than a cold. And when I'll get home now is anyone's guess. But Ive still got my job, Im in a senior position which means 10 years of hires have to be paid off or furloughed before I do, as long as I play by the rules. We're flat out, so Im needed in my off period too. So good money and very little chance of anyone getting dunted. But Oil is $22 a barrel just now. Some places in the US its $8 a barrel and globally all the tanks and storage vessels are full. Russia and OPEC are playing bully big balls and trying to out stare each other so both have the taps fully open. 9 times outta 10 Id say Russia would blink first, but OPEC caused the last down turn trying to screw US Shale over and failed, so are very weak. So Russia will think they have the upper hand. Can see this drawing out right down to the line and all the service companies cant afford another hit like this so soon. The Service Companies do 90% of the work for the Oil Companies, as you know. So its a bit of a mess. Some big players will be folding soon I think, bit not before serious cuts in man power the world over.
  12. Yeh, its a right muddled mess. : D I can fully understand folk who come in no contact with others should be allowed to carry on. I also see the toss side that they may be putting themselves in harms way needlessly and require medical assistance form those that need to care for people that have come down with The Rona. Basically taking much needed life saving equipment from someone who is already dying through no fault of their own verses someone who's needlessly putting them, selves in harms way for make a few quid when there is already packages in place to ensure they dont need too. So whats really needed is proper clarification.
  13. No? Off the booze just now, dont feel that good. I never forget to say No Home though! No matter how much I have to drink.
  14. Its only gay if you push back. Or forget to whisper 'no homo' first.
  15. Thats the face a Baby makes when they see titty. Are you implying its the face you'd make when you see us on a deserted island and want something to suck on?
  16. Thats all anyone can hope for right? Anything else is pure conjure and wishful thinking as Im sure you can agree?
  17. I genuinely thought at your age you where hawking for a spot.
  18. But you could brew beer and drink it all, then sell him all the piss and he'd be your best mate for it.
  19. Ah the Independent, the oxymoron of a Newspaper.
  20. A lot of factors are at play there. 1, The Aussie population is only 24 million. 2, Their package is about £65B. The UK is pledging a £330B package. So the Aussie package is £2700 per person and the UK Package is £4900 per person. 3, The $1500 a fortnight is £750 a fortnight, or £1500 a month. Considering the cost of living in Oz that sucks ass. 4, When will they start to get this package? 5, are they expected to repay it? Nothing in Oz os for free.
  21. Is IR35 only affection Oil field guys or other industries too? If its other industries as well maybe they have a headstart on it?
  22. But there was experts advising the Government. Clearly that has proved to be at least partially bad advice.
  23. Ah but I already have that sussed out! SP has me on ignore so I'll easily sneak up on him whilst he's blootered on Buckfast watching Alex Jones vids on youtube and clobber him. That leaves just me and you to fight it out over why you wasted a perfectly good spot on a dead Weegie.
