  1. Hi, it runs great when on throttle but doesn’t idle on tickover, I’d take it to dealers to plug in but .....£££
  2. Hi Dan, yes all done including a reset. Thinking it might just need a kick or two ?
  3. Hi all, as above my 241 is playing up, starts fine from cold but if you put it down for a few seconds to move brash etc it cuts out, will only start again with choke on even when warm. Any ideas? It's the m-tronic so no screws to turn ?
  4. Has anyone actually had hands on with one of these grinders? If so what are pros/cons, they look a little odd but it's certainly ticking boxes as my next purchase. Was thinking of the FSI b22 but currently being put off by the 14hp engine.
  5. Throwing another choice into the mix isn’t helping ?
  6. Hi all, looking at a different stump grinder. Currently only have a cheap rock machinery one with a 14hp Kohler engine and I've had a new wheel fabricated so it has 500 series greenteeth on it. Just sick of wrestling with the thing at the end of a long day as it doesn't pivot above the wheels. Currently looking at a new FSI b22 or a used Bandit 2250n, mainly domestic jobs, typically rows of Conifer stumps 12-24 inch diameter. I know they are totally different machines but just looking for an easier way of grinding, opinions greatly appreciated as I'm on my second week of trying to decide ?
  7. Just had an update from GM, they’ve contacted the manufacturer about the issue.
  8. Can’t decide if this guys an idiot or genius ? have you seen better ones? Post them up ? bit of harmless fun to beat the lockdown
  9. I’ll have a look in morn then post on here
  10. Hi, not at all, it’s the inner filter that was brand new with less than 50 hours use. Only spotted it when I was servicing the chipper.
  11. Surely it’s not, but I’m no expert ?
  12. Hi, anyone had an issue with the Allen key head bolt that holds the retrieval clip on? Mine fell out completely today and was spotted by the groundy. It’s not seen much use as it’s pretty new. Made me worry about the 2 in the main body now, do I remove them and put some thread lock on?

    Water lane farm

Easy access & hard standing tip off point, £20 for a transit tipper load of log or chip, can’t complain at that. Working out of our local area so this was a great find on Arbtalk ?
  14. Hi, serviced my chipper at 50 & 94 hours. It’s got to 100 hours today and started bleeping and SEr on the display. Is this a service warning and if so can I reset it myself or only at a dealership? shaun. @Jase hutch @PeteB
  15. Have @PeteB or @Jase hutch seen this happen before? cheers, Shaun.
  16. Yes outer filter is in place and no damage to that one.
  17. Just servicing the chipper at 94 Hours, was last done at 50 hours. However I’ve noticed the inner air filter has parts of the filter mesh missing, any ideas as to what would cause this and has all the crap gone into the engine? Genuine filter purchased from a Greenmech dealer.
  18. Well I was going to paint the fence or mow the lawn, but I thought, sod it and ended up spraying the van. Never did like the blue colour ? just hope it doesn’t rain and wash the Cuprinol off ?
  19. Come on, chuck some timber through it and post a video, all going out our minds with boredom here in coronaville
  20. Clearly you are ok there I’d say but we do domestic work mainly with a lot of nosey people about, phones at the ready ?
  21. That’s exactly why we are not out working, takes years to build a successful business but seconds to destroy it on social media. Oh and the fact we’re not key workers, just because we can’t work from home doesn’t mean we can go to work as many people believe, why put family and other people at risk for the sake of 3 weeks.
