Not sure if you are on the Buckfast again but the post was in poor taste simple as that.

    Covid-19

There was no opportunity to weigh up the pros and cons due to the absolute hysteria from the very start of this and the demands for action from politicians whom seemed hell bent on trying to outdo each other in the severity of restrictions scale. The comments ref who’s locked up now ie you aren’t etc is totally ignoring all the evidence that is starting to appear finally ref the damage this is causing.

Very very poor in every way.

Safety in numbers? Safety in numbers don’t be such a tit 😂, Not at all but when the wind is blowing that way you certainly seem to like trying to group me and Andy together 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️. The explanations of alternative directions have been given time and time again by many on here not just your two favourites 😘

Christ how many times do you need an explanation of the alternative approaches to this ??? I’m sure it’s been put up numerous times, you try to keep putting myself and Andy in the same opinion group but I think you will find it’s a good few more on here whom disagree with Lockdown as the only tool in the box.

    Covid-19

Regarding the stats Andy put up earlier ??. Do you acknowledge those as correct.
  12. Johnsond

    Covid-19

Long Covid? Maybe not fatal as such but certainly very debilitating and life changing. Not as debilitating and fatal as the lockdown will prove to be for many people with failed businesses, mental health issues and missed diagnosis of many other diseases. At least have the integrity to admit the statistics that Andy is quoting are correct.

The point is many can’t work and have received zero assistance. You can’t compare London to Norway nor London to rural Aberdeenshire yet I live under the same if not worse (SNP) restrictions

Spoken like a true keyboard warrior. People have tried to give you there take and opinions on things but you disagree as is your right and, that’s fine. I think you will find in reality it’s the pro mask and lockdown advocates who tend to get worked up a bit more than the likes of myself whom disagree with lockdown or any of the others whom share that view including the likes of Rob D and Big J who are attempting to run businesses in the middle of all this.

    Covid-19

I can live with that no probs at all, we are after all supposed to live in a country where differing opinions are the norm. Just out of curiosity and maybe to put some perspective on things how old are you, bearing in mind the comment earlier ref the vaccine ?

    Covid-19

Let me flip it around to yourself and ask when is enough enough for you in regards the restrictions we are living with and under. Bearing in mind the effect on children’s education and mental health, the long term consequences for hundreds of thousands suffering from other illnesses never mind the damage to the economy. My mother whom is in her 70s with dementia albeit early stages hit the nail on the head after nearly a year of shielding and not seeing hardly anyone including her grandchildren when she stated that this is certainly not how she wants to live the remainder of her life. Basically an existence consisting of confinement and loneliness.

I wholeheartedly disagree. You have asked that question ie tell me what you would have done dozens of times and have received detailed and generalised answers several times. Sympathy does not pay the bills. I’m not sure if you received any financial assistance from the various schemes but I can assure you I’ve had zero. Post counts 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️you don’t do too bad yourself.

    Covid-19

You seem to have all answers admittedly with the benefit of hindsight. You whine on incessantly I’m afraid about decisions being made by everyone etc etc. Yes I hate lockdown it has destroyed mine and many self employed people’s livelihoods. As for what would I have done excuse me if I skip that clumsy bit of bait. Although many have suggested alternatives myself included even as recently as today I get the feeling it would be a pointless, excruciating endeavour.
  20. Pretty dam cold on a reservoir job up on Loch Thom

Nothing was done or said to warrant an apology in reality. As I’ve said before don’t be such a bloody politically correct wet blanket.
