Matty if you have access to elm like that keep hold of it, prices are only gonna go one way. Even up in Aberdeenshire it’s getting harder and harder to find. I know of one local guy with a lot of long established contacts who is snapping up everything and shipping it south to England for stupid money.

Harry I was in a similar situation years ago, straight out the army and driving class 1’s on agency work to cover the training costs to get all my commercial diving qualifications. I was offered a start with a local firm that turned into 4-5 years of solid graft. Shit hard work not the best money but an amazing training ground that set me up very well for the future. Basically as has been said in broken English already, you are inexperienced as I was and sometimes have to take a job you might not really have dreamt of to get a start as I did. I think that’s applicable for any industry you are trying to break into. Remember how you felt when leaving the training depot and joining your battalion/unit 🤷♂️you think you are something but in reality you are just starting out. “ Self employed Commercial Diver/Supervisor since 1990 and a bit of Sawmilling”
